slodge, I'll be round for some cake, it will go nicely with the chai masala I've just made. mmmmmm, thanks. (Actually, just let me finish my sandwich, and get ready for dessert).

I presume you got tickets?

Aye! Got through to the ticket page for the first time in my life, put all the reg's in, message comes up that they have already been used, FB message pings to say our mate had snaffled them. Then tried to put the left-over codes on the NFRNFC FB group in but it was sold out by the time I'd finished :(

So it was close but we got ours :)

If slodge continues to be emotionally blackmailed into baking the LDC, I can bring down some CM. Anyone interested, and will have a receptacle handy for drinking hot liquid?

I'll see if I can remember to bring 2 flasks down with me, and we can all have a cup. Is anyone lactose intolerant, or can I make it with (cow's) milk? I'll leave the sugar out, for choice, but it is good with it. By leaving sugar out, I can justify that biscuit or cake to act as accompaniment....

I have plastic pint mugs...... and have just realised that due to this years camping arrangements - being on site - I cannot bring my normal lovely mugs with Efests all over them!!

CM - no sugar - perfect.

I think there was some support for the same place as the official Wednesday meet, rather than by the bins outside Avalon Cafe!

The bins were so nice though LOL

We sort of shared the official Thursday meet this year - shall we have our own meet in 2015 and say that others are all welcome?

Chai and cake would be amazing! I'll bring a mug!

Was thinking last night about the Thursday Meet! SO BLOODY EXCITED!

IS there a bar in the Croissant Neuf field? That never seems hectic busy and is a nice spot.

Thursday sounds good to me....... and I have to admit so does CN but according to Glastomap there are no bars near there.

How about:

Williams Green

or

Bellas Field

or

The Glade

or

Accoustic Field

No idea how busy they might be - over to the experts on that one... just looking at the glastomap bars which I am sure is not all of them.

    • People seem to have got obsessed about 'secret sets' at all festivals this year even when there aren't any spaces other than, in EOTR's case, the usual late Folly sets that 90%+ of the time are from artists who are already playing.
    • To be fair @Superscally barely mentions the running thing. Very quiet about it 😘
    • I guess we'll just have to wait until videos of the shows go up, but the fact that the standing is also greyed out still suggests to me that those sections just sold out out before the others and a blue block just be like 3 tickets left, it's still not concrete proof they never went on sale and if they were never on sale why would they not make it even, if 414 wasn't on sale then you'd think 409 wouldn't be either
    • Selfish, but I've done the 2 days I'm there.. i'll try to do the rest through the day but might get beaten to it as it's editable....    https://clashfinder.com/s/ape2026/
    • I don’t think the festival automatically ‘need’ to have a female headliner if you have strong female headliners on the Other Stage (which I reckon will be Rosalia and Phoebe Bridgers), perhaps a female legend (praying for Annie, will take Cher), and a few female/mix gendered subs on the Pyramid (maybe London Grammar, The xx). From what I’ve seen of Sabrina, her team prioritises the pay day and I think she will be doing Wembley over Glasto weekend.   One thing I’ve noticed is a lot of the suggestions would be first time headliners and I can’t work out when the last time was that the festival had three artists top the bill that hadn’t topped it before? It seems to be something they like to do to make sure they have a ‘safe’ headliner that will land well with the masses. Plenty of names in that hat that could step back up next summer and should/could be about: Billie Eilish, Adele, Foo Fighters, The Cure, Radiohead, U2…hell, if Beyoncé is really planning to release a ‘rock n roll’ album to complete her Renaissance trilogy, Glastonbury would be a great place to ‘kick off’ that campaign for her.   And there’s always the Rihanna rumour. Her husband (I think) said this week she’s in the studio.
