Would avoid the castle carey train station, seen them twice there before but you never know.

Put stuff on your head/under hat...dogs cant sniff that high!!

I always make sure to stroke the sniffer dogs. If I am carrying anything, then them sniffing would be normal (although since a lot of it is in the handler, the more common reaction is for them to be pulled away). If I'm not, then it does at least put a spanner in the works. And yeah, CCCheese has already confirmed that there won't be any on the gates.

I think a lot of them are just there for show? I've never seen them at Glasto but I saw them at Bestival last year and I had stuff on me and it did nothing..

Just been through Castle Cary, no dogs, minimal police presence. They are checking tickets pretty strictly though!

nightmare this. i'm not worried about it once i reach the actual festival as i know i'm surrounded by thousands of people in exactly the same situation, but getting pulled over whilst on the way and having all your shit gone through = game over. do they have sniffer dogs on the side of the road or is it just a thorough police search?
