LSD at Glaston-bury

After reading the 'overdone' it thread I wanted to know people's experience of doing acid at Glasto.

I've done it before a few times and always had positive uplifting experiences but this includes at a small day festival which couldn't have been more than half a mile squared and still got completely lost.

It's not something that floats around my area so I would be hesitant to buy off a stranger as Keith Flint of Prodigy once recalled his experience of dropping acid at Glastonbury and being really fucked and not being able to leave his tent, until he fell asleep and woke up to the rain as said tent was now on fire...

Had mushrooms there & that was great, only lasted about two hours , don't think I could handle the potency & longevity of Acid at Glasto . May as well stay at home if you want to be that detached from where you are.

Depends how well you handle your acid and the potency that you get. Personally, I wouldn't.

Haha I agree that it is as exhausting as it is hilarious but from what I've heard that doesn't stop alot of people haha

Plenty 2cb is kicking about these days. You trip on it, but not quite to the intensity of acid. It also has empathogenic effects.

Back in the day we used to spend all day watching jugglers and clouds. Not the best use of Glastonbury time, fun though it was.

Hours would pass until someone would pipe up,'is it Eat Static soon?' At which point the designated sober one would sigh and say that was 3 hours ago.

Used to do it Friday morning as soon as we could get some as it was the only place you could get it by then in the mid 90s then get hammered all day and watch bands in the mid 90s. Was fine!

Only thing was if you took it too early you could feel pretty bad by the evening!

Always do it, usually a couple of days apart, as long as you can handle it it's amazing, just be sure you're careful

Lol watching the clouds has always been my favourite thing to do on sid but music is also equally amazing when it comes to bass!

Good advice from all but would have been happy with some crazy stories because to be fair even if someone said DONT DO IT and I did get some I'd probably still do it anyway lol if there was a sunny afternoon anyway.

thinking of taking acid one day at the festival this year. heard that if you take MDMA about two hours in to it (called 'candy flipping') it makes it a bit less intense and more enjoyable (especially at festivals) so might give that a go (i've done acid previously - just not candy flipping)

obviously festivals aren't the place to be experimenting in such a way, but hell, i'm pretty experienced so should be able to handle it i think

woke up went to a bar dropped came up had a laugh it got crowded i got paranoid thought i was being followed [ cos i had stuff on me lol ] started going through places where the mud was really bad just so i couldnt be followed even started taking photos of people i thought were following me lol tried to get back to camp at the dance tent wandered into circus tent saw people flying through the air completely lost the plot and it took the wife an hour to get me to camp .............true story...................................that was 98 i think NEVER AGAIN

yes candy flipping will be a nice experience at the festival....read bluelight for the optimal dosage/timings.

we used to always do acid on the thursday and explore, had some classic trips, hilarious/fucked up in all kinds of ways.

we don't bother any more really....although we do have something a bit more potent lined up for this year

I remember on one occasion the aforementioned sober person took us through the permaculture area, then a bit more wild and overgrown. Some of us were convinced we had wandered offsite into an enchanted forest and were completely freaked out. It was back to the jugglers after that.

I have taken quite alot of drugs but acid still scares me , friend was taking it at bestival and so we're 2 beautiful australians who did not look the type at all they made it look less scary tbh .

Think I'm gonna continue to.stay away from it probs just a few pills and gonna see if this 5htp actually works , I hope it does it cost 15 quid !

yeah been giving bluelight a good read up about it. always read up about drugs on the net before i do them to try and get the maximum experience out of them
