Swine_Glasto2014
Will there be a mosh for Metallica? Been watching another of there gigs on YouTube and some of the mosh's is insane and others there isn't one? I'm hoping the pyramid faithful embrace them and go fucking nuts! Inconspicuous
Could well be, I've seen two pits at Glastonbury, Enter Shikari and Pendulum.

Swine_Glasto2014
Your people? Oooooohhhhhh Enter Shikari was pretty heavy. I can see it being a tad bigger, or I'm hoping it will be !
alexwetherell
Yeah I'm sure they'll be a bit of a pit, i hope there is!! Aaron will start one, he's a right cock
The Placid Casual
Aaron sounds like a right tart I'll join a MOSH if there is a MOSHPIT, if there isn't a MOSHPIT, I won't start a MOSHPIT There was MOSHING during Shikari and Smashing Pumpkins last year, so there'll no doubt be some for Metallica, just don't piss people off
Swine_Glasto2014
I'm a sheep, not a tart chap! Don't piss people off? How do you do a careful mosh? Can't see it being a elbow mosh just a cool kid mosh

Gnomicide
I'm confused Also, you can mosh without pissing everyone off Agree, by all means have fun, just don't involve people in it who don't want to be involved. Caught in a Mosh? Maybe Anthrax are the tbc Other stage openers.
Mouseboy11
Just don't be one of those people who grabs people and just slams into them like an abnoxious shite.
Phil-itfc
There was a pit for Fucked up on the JP (which the lead singer was involved in!), so see no reason why one wouldn't start for Metallica.
willutalk
Top the heavier stuff I can definitely see there being moshes. Intro to the Master of Puppets got example, just for a few people to say 'we moshed to Metallica in front of the Pyramid stage'. Though I doubt it'll get out of hand. I agree with the ground rules of Wessexboy.
alexwetherell
Yeah, mosh pits always seem to piss people off. I agree with the don't involve people that don't wanna be in it thing.. Unless they're my friends of course
jeffie
As long as no-one disturbs our chair line, and gets in the way of the champers.
alexwetherell
As long as no-one disturbs our chair line, and gets in the way of the champers. If your chair line is suitably positioned... I.e not in the middle of the front section I'm sure all will be fine. As long as I can have some champers?
Yesiamaduck
Im more curious Do you think this mosh will follow mosh etiquette Or Do you think this mosh will be full of people who think they know how to behave in a mosh ruining everyones day by harming the people around them? Because if it's the former and a self contained thing with people bumping into each other and I'm near by I may well jump in if I have the energy, if its full of people flinging elbows, jumping on people and flying into people outside of the mosh pit then I'm oot. cokebabies92
Qotsa in 2011 had a pit, was funny beforehand a young lady asked us whether there was going to pit or not, and we responded of course to hear her reply 'it's Glastonbury they don't do that sort of thing here' she was very wrong after 5 seconds of feel good hit. Swine_Glasto2014
See a mosh move, simple. Not like there's gonna be 70000 ppl around you. And I'm sorry but the camping chair I'm here for a picnic crew can bloody well move

Gnomicide
I was once at a Gary Glitter gig (no shit!) and there was a woman near the front with a small child. As soon as the grotesque old paedo came on, the crowd started going a bit mad and she was having a fit at everyone around her clinging on to the kid before making a hasty retreat. I now understand why she was clinging onto the kid but there you go.

Some bands can make a crowd mosh regardless of where they are, the weirdest example of this I have found was The Hold Steady, I mean I don't even think 'mosh' when I think about The Hold Steady but everytime I've seen them they incite a mosh as soon as they come on stage. SirDaniel
Seen a few pits at Glastonbury, the best being at Dino Jr. last year. Everyone was very careful to ensure anyone that went down was pulled up and it was all extremely good fun.
