I thought you were trolling. Very nearly said 'are you trolling'

It has to be last song though, it's so good live. I still find it odd when people chant it at football.

Haha yeh just confirming.

I sometimes go down to Bolton and they play a shite dance remix of it before the teams come out, it's fucking awful and tacky. Can't wait for it at G though, I just reckon it's gunna be great with everyone singing along

What I love is the band stop playing and he sings over the crowd while they chant the notes. Then you just keep chanting after the gig.

Sounds great. We should all keep chanting it all the way through Metallica until they cave and just end up playing that chord sequence for 1 and a half hours.

It's way way down the pecking order. Not even top 10. But live it becomes a totally different beast. It has to close the show.

Looking at videos of that live, it might be the only White Stripes song I have seen performed by his new band that I like as much as the original

I was a bit like that before he announced the tour I saw him on, I just wanted to see him in any form and I didn't care which band it was cause it was Jack white. I really hope you manage to get tickets man! :) Hopefully they'll show his set on TV seen as I can't be there, the full tour can't come quick enough!

I can't remember why I didn't go to that tour; really wish I did. Thanks man! Hopefully there'll be a full tour soon anyway.

How come? Also how much does The Vault cost in total?

mine is up to 50 quid per quarter now. We pay more in UK due to shipping.

When it started you were promised an LP, a 45 and a special gift.

The last one was a box of the Elephant singles obviously done in a new package. That's all we got. It's still pretty cool but not really what the Vault has become known for. Most people want live show LPs and demo/rare singles with a t-shirt or DVD.

Some people even moaned about the current one as the only difference is we get a colourer vinyl. Notice how Ben says in the video that people have no reason to moan. Think they are starting to get sick of whiney fans.

You do get pre sale links for shows and the chat room which Jack sometimes goes on to drop very cryptic hints about upcoming releases. Something they haven't used in a while is the live stream. They used to stream shows from Third Man and occasionally do Q and A sessions via the stream.

One thing I will say is TMR are fantastic for their customer service and since they upgraded their shipping, your stuff does seem to come a little faster than before.

    • I don’t know what was going on with SEE tickets for Phoebe Bridgers this morning.. I had a presale code, got into the sale after queuing for 15mins with the green bars of doom.. but no map to choose seats from, just categories like “aisle seat” and “reserved seat” and sometimes a drop down of the section, but you had no idea where in the section the seat was… then you clicked through and either got “no tickets available” or a captcha which just kept looping no matter how well you selected the thing it was asking you to identify.. then eventually it spat you out to another “not enough tickets available” message.. I went through that loop SO many times.. I was doing captchas endlessly.. it was totally borked.    in the end I went back to the email with the presale code in, it then directed me to ticketmaster rather than see, still for Manchester, and I could then see the tickets on the map .. get them in my basket etc ..but there was only upper tier left.. so going to try my luck on ticketmaster for the main sale.. SEE was total garbage!
    • For the 25th anniversary would be hopeful for  Pavement, Neutral Milk Hotel. Guided by Voices .  Modest Mouse.
    • Yeah we're in prime random announcements time so worth keeping an eye out for anything revealed
    • Wonder what that could be. Too early to announce Geese…
    • Huw Stephens has "very special news" about the festival on his 6 Music show later.
