I'll have a nice spec on the barrier on my own for this it seems. 75,000 over watching Clem and Deb.

I'll be stood next to you

mind if I join you both? i'll bring over first round...

i'm staying through Rodrigo y Gabs too...nice to see Courtney Barnett (a 'must' for me) is on a bit later up at the Park

Not the set I would of hoped for. Hopefully we will get under the pressure/red eyes/ocean in between the waves/eyes to the wind. I think we should. Still going to be great regardless.

yeah those songs + Baby Missiles and Come To The City would be great. would also like Burning and Best Night but that'd be a struggle

apart from being my fave track of theirs, i think this video is just so perfect for the song too.

don't think it's "Bad" though...i've mentioned on here that this is their Verve song in my book. sounds like a completely different band from Brothers just a few tracks beforehand

Lost In The Dream has kind of taken over for me now so i always forget what a great album Slave Ambient was. love this song a lot! really hope they play it

i thought they were a fantastic. great way to start the festival off for me. their crowd was obviously slim because of Blondie being on at the same time but it really didn't matter. they sounded really good. just a shame about their short set time, although they still managed to fit a lot of songs in - most of the ones you'd want to hear

An Ocean Between The Waves, Under The Pressure and Red Eyes especially were brilliant

Yes, I love the last album and the band made a decent fist of playing it. I enjoyed it, but as the previous poster has said, they were a bit lost on the Pyramid. They would have been much better late afternoon up at the Park

    • It would be piss-easy for a bot to manage, though.
    • I've heard that ticket sales for other events that use the same system have included the question 'are you still there?' on each window/browser you have with a place in the queue. If you don't confirm you are, it'll assume you're not and that place will drop.   I've no idea if Glasto/See will adopt this, but it would be challenging to keep on top of with many windows open.
    • People who're struggling are already priced out, so I don't think a bump in price will affect who attends. There'll still be a cross section, leaning young. I also think they'll do a soft breaking of the £400 ceiling, keeping the ticket price just below but having postage take it over. Next year the ticket itself will be over that threshold.

    • Not sure if this has been mentioned but new La Roux album out November - was meant to play in 2020 but hasn't found her way back onto a lineup. If any excuse just to hear this absolute banger on the fields next year!
