Biggles!

Now that Biggles are TBC, I don't care who else is added. These are always the highlight of my festival! The only TBC so far is croissant neuf on Wednesday but what time of day is this likely to be as I am unsure last year they were on bandstand on Thursday last year then CN on Saturday? I am sure they will be doing a few more sets anyway

2pm on the Wednesday was decided on as Wednesday is now a bit like Thursday used to be BUT BUT BUT if there is demand, we could maybe do another session on the croissant neuf bandstand with sally's permission

we are also hoping to do the markets bandstand

Every year at Glastonbury Croissant Neuf was just another area of the festival that I walked past and enjoyed without stopping. Until last year on the Thursday when me and the missus were passing and spotted Biggles on the bandstand. One of the highlights of the festival for me. So much so that we went back and watched them again (cannot remember which day) one of the first things we done when we got home was book up for the Croissant Neuf summer party. Fantastic event with amazing people. Sadly it's not on this year :-(

exhaustion meant it took me longer to 'fall down the rabbithole' last year and as such i was still a bit mardy come thursday lunchtime. it all came together and my head cleared while sitting under james' wooden shrooms listening to biggles though. :) they have a place in my heart for that.

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
    • Taxi mafia running their usual scam.
