May be Elbow as the new album comes out Monday and they probably wouldn't want to make a big announcement before that. Would prefer someone like Belle & Sebastian or Nile Rogers and someone mentioned Chemical Brothers on another link which would the dogs bollox but Elbow would do

Sunday?? I'm expecting the last headliner to be a dance/more recent artist for Friday night. This would follow the normal KC pattern. FT is playing Saturday so I expect Suede to be the closing act.

Not to chuck a spanner in your works lippy but u were so chuffed when both basement jaxx played last yr and dizzee rascal the year before. Both were the dance option.

Much as I'd love to see the Courteeners at Kendal we've discussed it on here a few times and most agree that it wouldn't attract the crowd that the festival organisers want. Seen them loads of times live and every single time the crowd was going mental which is great at a Courteeners gig, maybes not what they want as a family festival headliner.
