Too small I reckon. Headlined Truck last year and thats a third the size.

The horrors would be a great addition an arguably better than the other two headliners, although thats a personal preference

May be Elbow as the new album comes out Monday and they probably wouldn't want to make a big announcement before that. Would prefer someone like Belle & Sebastian or Nile Rogers and someone mentioned Chemical Brothers on another link which would the dogs bollox but Elbow would do

Can't imagine the kooks being big enough to headline after being away for a few years. Possibly support role or 3rd down the card.......then again frank turners headlining so you never know !

Got to be a goodie tho ....bit too much folky stuff for us at the mo. If its going to be the Sunday night headliner,....it needs to be a singalong-hands -in-the-air-smile-on-my-sunburnt-glittery-face-set that closes the show with a chuffing Big Bang!

Im expecting to see a big dance act looking at past years. Think the indie headliner has been taken up with Suede. I recon Fat Boy Slim, Chemical Brothers, Chase and Status someone like that.

I see Pet Shop Boys announced a tour and Bingley have announced them, possible or not ?

I'd be happy enough with that, something a bit different and sure to play stuff that everyone knows and can sing along to. Sort of thing you want to end the festival as a Sunday night headliner.

Sunday?? I'm expecting the last headliner to be a dance/more recent artist for Friday night. This would follow the normal KC pattern. FT is playing Saturday so I expect Suede to be the closing act.

It says 1st August (the Friday) on Suede's website so maybe they're doing away with the dance headliner? Does seem to be shifting slightly away from the dance element (good news in my book!)

The Enemy are announcing something tomorrow, thinking it will be a tour then can see them added sometime next week, Miles Kane on the Sunday too, could be a lad rock day.

Much as I'd love to see the Courteeners at Kendal we've discussed it on here a few times and most agree that it wouldn't attract the crowd that the festival organisers want. Seen them loads of times live and every single time the crowd was going mental which is great at a Courteeners gig, maybes not what they want as a family festival headliner.
