Problem with people in the knol (especially in the music biz) is a lot of the time their info comes from the same place ours comes from... Efestivals!

My buddy last year insisted that her friend who worked for some record label knew that Fleetwood Mac (along with Arctic Monkeys and The Stones) were headlining. Coincidentally Fleetwood Mac were being listed on here as a rumour at the time.

James is a bit different though, waiting for him to post see if it was just pissed talk from his mates.

while James talks to people more in the know than many, it's still often the case that those very close to Michael don't know who is being booked or spoken to.

But in this case, in the absence of Mac, perhaps he's on to something. :)

I did wonder, with them being spoken of as doing anniversary gigs next year, but I somehow it seemed improbable to me. I would be pleasantly surprised (and it would be the booking of the year, topping even the arcade fire, imo) if it came to be. They could do nothing but close the pyramid on the Sunday, no other slot would do.
