This might be one of those times where everybody tells me I'ma shit judge of how popular acts are, but surely Pyramid headliner? I'm going off these scientific findings;

Group A - People I know who don't own Stankonia:

definitely coachella headliners, they're way bigger than acts like the stone roses out in the us (who headlined last year), couple that with reunion hype and the fact that coachella in general seems to give out headline spots rather liberally it's clear that they'd definitely headline or not play at all.

Asides from Hey Ya and Ms Jackson I don't think a lot people will know a great deal of their material... maybe Sub Pyramid stage if saaay Kanye West was headlining?

I think they might be too big for Other Stage though, considering the current demographic think they'd pack out that field pretty quickly, maybe day time hip hop slot on Pyramid? Similar to Snoop? Think they'd work better in a day time setting anyway. From that article they seem pretty nailed on to play though.

If they were opposite someone like Fleetwood Mac, then they would split the crowd nicely. Won't allow myself to get excited about this one yet though, seems a long way off

this 'rumour' is now currently all i care about. REALLY hope they play. didn't think a reunion was going to be possible for a lonngggg time, if at all. can't see them anywhere else but the Pyramid. subbing or maybe even third. maybe i'm looking at them through rose tinted glasses but they seem far too big for Other Stage

Outkast are a weird act in the UK, because they have those HUGE songs (Hey Ya, The Way You Move, Ms. Jackson, Roses) that EVERYBODY knows, but after that i'm sure a lot of people would be hard pressed to name a single other song by them

yeah to be fair it's probably money on their mind more than anything else so i wouldn't be surprised to see them go elsewhere. maybe Wireless headliner?
