Lineup 2015

I really don't think they're gonna headline. They aren't as big as people make out. It isn't enough to just have 1 or 2 singles that people know, it really isn't.

completely the contrary to people I know, I guess that's a biased sample but they could easily headline with a new album. I'd say next album does as well as el camino and they are headliners everywhere.

But they aren't recognised even nearly enough. Gold on the Ceiling and Lonely Boy and that's all the crowd so much as looked at in 2012. And I don't want to deal with them at the festival in any capacity whatsoever tbh

Didn't Melvin explicitly state they would headline in the near future? I agree with Matt42, they would be even bigger with the new album.

I reckon The Black Keys will sub IOW this year (perhaps along with 30STM) and that the third Latitude headliner will be one of them or Portishead (leaning towards Portishead).

If Latitude had Portishead they would have probably announced them already seeing as they would definitely sell more tickets than Albarn and TDCC probably put together.

Aye but so would The Black Keys.

Could easily hold back their biggest headliner, like R&L.

Really? I'm not sure The Black Key's aren't on the same level as Albarn.

And that's the thing, as they're an exclusive I'd say Blink are a bigger seller this year than the other headliners. Sure Arctics are bigger but not necessarily a bigger seller.

Well they play arenas successfully and I'm not sure Albarn would.

Someone on the Glasto boards says they've heard TBK are headlining Latitude so that could be something towards a headline slot next year if it comes off. Bit strange if they headlined the same festival as TDCC because, well, they're much bigger.

Aye, person who also called Kasabian and Massive Attack correctly at Glasto.

Interesting... so FR could have booked TBK for Latitude prior to R&L next year? But it's indeed a weird booking because they are much bigger as you said. Also, did any previous Latitude headliners made a step-up to R&L that quickly?

Muse are much bigger than My Chemical Romance though.

Hi guys, I'm exploring the subject of illegal drug use at UK music festivals for my dissertation and would be so very grateful if you could fill out this survey. Its anonymous and will take less than 5 minutes and would really help me out with my research. Much appreciated x

>27. Do you think the fact that electronic dance music becoming more mainstream has resulted in a higher tolerance of illicit drug use?

I feel you, brother
