2 adults 2 kids an a campervan ticket again this year, happy with the space an layout of the campervan field and its the way ahead ! I'll have to get fitter as I was sweating like a biffa slogging over to emperors to see u lot or put a tent up for johnny ! The latter is seemingly wrote into the terms and conditions of this year's purchase as well

Emperors booked again for us (wife and 2 kids) next year, the distance from car to tent makes it a no brainer. Never thought I'd be into this be hooked now, next year will be our third on the bounce and moving it back a week means its our wedding anniversary! Hoping for Stereophonics or Manics

Wouldnt worry bout the owing someone a pint, I saw lippy and lochland in his neat little leather short things with the braces at the bar but very few others made it, think his neat little leather shorts put the others off. Maybes next year !

  • 4 weeks later...

Not sure when it was updated but Wickerman website now confirming the weekend before. This would all fit in nicely with my usual summer fortnight but the Mrs still hinting at somewhere involving a pool and a hotel ?!

Anyone thinking about Glastonbury ? Only a couple of weeks till ticket day.

Oh and what happened to our Keegan loving German friend ?

I'm going to try for Glastonbury again. Not got plans to go to Wickerman. Them charging to go into the kids area is unacceptable.

If I don't get Glastonbury I'm thinking of Latitude or Beautiful Days...but I'll wait on line ups. Bingley Live is also an option

We're booked on again after our gap year. Just 4 of us at the moment, no kids, but we've got kids and friends waiting for the first announcements, so the numbers might increase. Emperors Field, although that might change if I can scrape enough brass together for a camper van. And I think we're going for the full Thursday night kick off this year, so its bound to be the year of the monsoon !

Good luck with the Glastonbury tickets mate. I know you have been to Wickerman so fair enough if you know something I don`t but I have had this debate before on here. My understanding is that they collect £2 for weekend access ( you get a badge ) to the kids area and every year they send ALL the money raised to an African children`s charity. The badge says, and I quote because I`m looking at it "James thanks you for helping him go to school". It has a picture of James on it and the Wickerman logo. I would / will agree with you 100% if they were charging simply to get in to a kids area but I don`t think they are.

I also don`t think that they are actively anti disabled but that`s another story !

Sweet. With you coming up North the week before KC, can us Jocks expect you to take our tents direct from Wickerman to the Lakes ( Lochs ) ? Word on the street is that you are pretty handy for the KC site.

Will manage my own sleeping bags etc but having the tent up would be a bonus !

    • I saw that the payment method is contactless wristbands - I understand you collect them at the festival site and can top them up there as well? Yes, there are top up points, keep the recepe if you want to withdraw the money in the end   How much does food and drink usually cost at the festival? We would like to know how much money we should prepare for the festival. Beer, Wine etc. 5€, Gin tonic, Whishkey Cola were 6-6.5€, food 10€    Is there a bus from the festival site to the city center? And are there any stops along the way? No offical info yet, but ussualy there are free festival buses from Ljubljanica to festival site, with few stops on the way. Nice to get to the festival but crowded from festival back to the city.   Where is the best place to find an Uber/Bolt to return from the festival site? Petrine ulica   Are there any shaded areas to take a break from the strong sun? Yes, i think there is some.
