Do you people think that if i'll take the folding chir to the front rows people would be mad at me?

I woldnt enjoy seeing my favorite bands not in the front rows...

Hi guys, I think they've relaxed the no-gazebo rule. On the website:

"Not allowed on the campsite: Gazebos larger than 3 by 3 metres, or tents of an excessive size."

I'll definitely bring my 3x3 orange gazebo

Anyone watching the Glastonbury coverage of the bands that are playing Werchter? Pixies looked and sounded ace before, gutted they're clashing with Pearl Jam, but it'll be Pearl Jam for me as I've seen Pixies before and have never seen Pearl Jam! Bummer of a clash though (for me).

Not a big Haim fan at all but I'll be seeing them as my friend likes them, and I've gotta say I was impressed with their Glasto set, sounded really good. Metallica looked incredible and Paolo sounded brilliant too.

Not seen any other full sets of RW acts, but caught a bit of Royal Blood, Interpol and Robert Plant, all sounded great.

thanks for the information guys, I have just realised and think we have made a big mistake though :/ we are leaving from manchester on wednesday on the planet festival bus and we have bought XL camping tickets, if the hive is full when we get there will we be able to camp at other campsites?

Can anyone tell me what footwear is suitable at Werchter? Does the ground dry out easily or will it be a mud bath? Especially in the camp sites. Thanks.

I've done Werchter 2008, which was basically rain and moderate temperatures for 2/3 of the weekend. I can't remember any mudfest situations, certainly nothing worth bringing wellies.

I'm in the same boat as you going on my own, I was just saying to my g/friend that I hope I don't go 5 days without havng a conversation haha. It'll be cool, people at festivals are in general in a party mood and good fun! Even towards solo travellers

So you'd recommend putting bottled alcohol in plastic bottles? and do they actually punish you if they do find alcohol or do they just confiscate it?

Hi Guys. I'm arriving on Thursday afternoon and as such I don't want to spend too long walking from campsite to campsite trying to find somewhere to pitch. I'm not one for worrying about which camp I'm on but I do like the look of C3. Does anyone know if the campsites usually fill up? If they do I'll just jump in the first one I see with space.
