Well "second to last" and "next to last" literally mean the same thing, and both mean there's only one act on afterwards.

I don't think for a second that he is headlining, that must be a mistake in the article.

I think if he was a co-headliner, they'd have said he was. They just told us he was playing, no mention of being a co-headliner

If there are co-headliners, the spot Paolo would play (technically third) would still be a sunset type spot at that time of the year, if has been given a push, fair play, but it would have been noted if he was as such
