Anyone get to strummerville this year? Didnt bother this year as read here somewhere there was no music have previously loved it so just wondering

big shame... Any ideas why? Guessing thier own festival last year caused financial problems..

No idea,I didn't even know they had there own festival,its just a small stage, a bar and a campfire.

used to have a real small stage..have seen some shite playing there before but always a good vibe.

Really sad this year. Usually spend some time there. It seemed soulless this year. Only stayed 5 mins. Needs the stage back.

I only called in one afternoon, hoping for the usual coffee & cake, but nothing...just a stall selling strummerville merchandise, and a few people sitting around drinking cans of strongbow. A bit of a let-down compared to previous years.

It was a crappy little appendix off t the unfair ground - effectively doomed.

It would do far better blocked off the other way around so folk could visit it via the Green Fields, is only right and would fit in better than with the late night dance chaos that we currently have

Besides there'd be real fun in being in it's chilled out space separated by nowt but mesh from the main late night madness

Kind of pushed out by the late night stuff. As has, more sadly, the 50p tea tent. In fact the green crafts bit used to be good for a late evening thing, cup of tea, sit around and smoke, but they're dead now, all closed up by the time it gets dark. Damn shame.

agree with posts above, it was all a little sad this year. No stage or music in the area just left if looking and feeling a bit lifeless. needs to go back to what it was IMO.

had a chat with the man from the 50p tea tent, he'd aways been 24 hour up till this year, but was packing up between 9 and 10 this year. Pretty rubbish for him.
