The bloke who fell down the long drop

A few of my mates said they saw a bloke being rescued from the long drops up at the acoustic stage. Supposedly he was hanging on to the seat by his fingertips, and when they pulled him out he was only wearing a thong!

Did anyone else see this?

The guy rescued in a thong from acoustic - was the vodka jelly man. I spoke to him, he said he just managed to escape without going in - but had left fur behind.

I saw someone else had gone through in the long drop behind Block 9 too

The general state & condition of the long drops this year is the worst I have ever seen. Maybe they just need replacing with newer ones.

The new long drops were good I thought but the old ones looked tired and were rank, found all the turdis' in the campsite to be a lot better this year, but I put this down on them having a bad reputation and more and more people opting to use the log drops, must of been at leas Saturday before I opened a turdis door and had to turn around and look for a better one, but my mrs put this down to good luck as she found lots of full ones

Somewhat O/T but can someone explain the whole tomato fight thing at Glasto ? I know about La Tomatina (or whatever it's called) in general of course but why have something similar at Glasto as it doesn't seem to fit in too well in respect of wasting food, resources and presumably water to clean up afterwards etc. Just seems at first thought to be such a really odd thing to do somehow

There seems to have been a lot of people that apparently fell into the long drops. this year. I sure I read something from an official source recently saying the tales of someone falling down the long drops were a myth. So either something has gone terribly wrong or the myths are still going strong.
