I'm not taking one, but I've no issue with anybody taking them? What's the problem? As long as your not setting one up at the front of the Pyramid I see no issue whatsoever.

Found it really useful when some of our friends took one in 2010, needed it for a little while, it was partially over the tents too, so gave some extra shade first thing in the morning

Maybe it is time to have gazebo-banned and gazebo-allowed fields. That way the gazeboers aren't taking up tent space in the really popular camping areas.

Our gazebo in 2011 was a lifesaver when it PISSED it down on weds morn when we were setting up. Gave us a dry place to put up tents before pegging them into the ground! I don't see the issue personally!

never taken one but smashed up and landfilled countless of them, i dont actually mind them if they are well constructed and people take them home and use them for a number of years

Camping in Tangerine Fields, so taking a gazebo.

Camped on-site in 2009", didn't take one then! Didn't have a issue with anyone's, except the ones taped off or taking up masses of room.

I have never in all my years of going to Glastonbury thought about the gazebos that people have put up. I'm far too interested in having a laugh with my mates, seeing what the festival has to offer in terms of entertainment, and turning off from shite like worrying about gazebos. That said, I think the suggestion that has been made that certain fields can have them and that they are a complete no no in other fields seems to be a good and easily enforcable one.
