Interesting views about Burnham, close to where I grew up and went to school. Used to play football on the beach with tide out in the 60's. I remember the Somerset and Dorset railway before Beeching got his hands on it. Same railway as the railway track today.

We did Wookey Hole, Ebbor Gorge, Priddy and Cheddar Gorge last weekend when camping in the Mendips.

Can highly recommend it all. Somerset is a fantastic county for bimbling around in.

We live near the Bath end of the Somerset and Dorset railway would be great if sustrans could extend the path all the way to Pilton

Amazing scenery I love cheddar, we always cut through and have a pint in cheddar on the way and have stayed there before the festival a couple of times. We always buy a load of fresh veg and fruit from the rd side vendors on the way home
