How do we think they'll go down on the Main Stage?

They had rave reviews from Download - really pulled it off from what I've heard.

Having seen both Pendulum and The Prodigy, will C & S be as wild as their gigs? What do you think?

I think they'd be really good, apart from that twatty MC that seems to tour with them, I think he'd anger me too much for me to see them.

Yeah same cant stand that MC he pisses me off so much, if they got tempah t on for next hype though it would be so good and then he can play the 1xtra tent the same day

Yeah the MC is a bit OTT. Will still be seeing them though!

I don't think they're as popular with R/L as Pendulum were/are and certainly not as much as The Prodigy.

However, there'll be a lot waiting to see Eminem and, while I don't think it'll be Prodigy '09, I think the crowd will be pretty mad during them.

Pretty much like The Prodigy - they have a live drummer and get the guitar/keys out now and again. All played over the main track with an MC.

MC Rage is much more suited to their DJ sets rather than as just a hype man in their Live sets.

But I've seen them quite a few times, once you've seen them once without Dizzee, its pretty much same old. Used to be a really big fan but can't explain why I've gone off them.

Blind Faith live is pretty cool though & Tempa T is da nutz.

Don't even bother, the actual inclusion and separate pan mixes for tracks that aren't even in album songs in the live performance isn't enough to convince people that The Prodigy play some live.

I don't know what a pan mix is? So I'll leave the more educated in that department to explain.

Is it when you pretend to remix & scratch using a pan?

Nah. Pan is how far left and right the audio is in the stereo mix. In the live desk mix of their shows Guitars and drums are in their own pan room, so to speak.

The 'real' instruments get the melodies out, and the other stuff, which is mostly just sampling with some active keying, is done through a DAW

I thought they fucking sucked at Download, I wasn't a fan but I gave them a shot, they ain't getting another one. Good booking though, just not my thing [and I love the Prodigy, I don't think they're anything like them]
