On the note of David Byrne will you be attending on of the few gigs he is playing in the UK this year Neil?

probably not.

I was hoping that a particular festival might like to give me some tickets to see him, but it seems that they want something for nothing massively more than I do. I'm currently mulling this dilemma over, and I suspect the conclusion will be consequences.

I know Neil and The Nal are not fans, but he's been amazng every time I've seen him. Probably the only act in the world that could get me to the Pyramid for a headlining spot. He'd tear the pyramid a new arse.

Obviously, like anything, them as like him will be happy, those as don't will remain unconvinced. But can you imagine 'Raspberry Beret' blasting out across the fields? That'd be heaven

Time to be pedantic. All those articles say is that an unnamed rep of Prince has reportedly said that he's not playing Glastonbury. Without a name or a direct quote how is this any different from the rumours that Prince is playing Glastonbury? Both the "He is Playing" and the "He isn't Playing" rumours have equal weight, so we still don't know for definite.

Without a name or a direct quote how is this any different from the rumours that Prince is playing Glastonbury? Neil.. did you delete the End Of The Road forum because they wouldn't give you free tickets to their festival...?

Nope, and it's not been deleted.

Things were changed because EotR indicated that me that they saw no value in the forum. With that in mind I re-evaluated its existence and the benefits of doing things differently.

Are you sure Dr Funkenberry is his rep? I'm not convinced, for the reasons people have given above, and also, his name is shit. It's a crap rip-off of the Parliament-Funkadelic character Dr Funkenstein, I'd have thought Prince would choose better than that!

      So if Madonna is doing 3 nights, that gives 6 left?   The cure Macca Springsteen  Ariana Grande (if she's touring at all) Rolling Stones  1975 Fontaines DC (apparently doing spurs stadium though) Nickelback    Are all possibilities I feel.   They'll be a country star and k-pop act as well I imagine but I don't know enough about the genres to make an guesses
