I know it's (possibly) their best known song, but it seems like such a perfect opener to me

Yeah it's a good closer. Much better than when they started closing with Coming of Age instead. Can't remember what they closed with when I saw them this year. I think it was Coming of Age or a new song.

They closed with We Were Children last year at Pompey, and then came out again & did Coming Of Age for an encore (although I'd left at this point)

Can't stand Coming Of Age as a song though, let alone a closer. Which is quite something considering I like nearly every other song they've released.

Different People worked brilliantly as an opener when I saw them in Sheffield earlier this year, I hope they stick with that I'm also hoping they include Folding Stars, Semi-Mental and Get Fucked Stud from Puzzle as well as the usual tracks from that album. It would be nice if they brought back Saturday Superhouse too. 9/15ths would be ace as well.

Different People was a great opener in Sheffield, yeah. However, Stingin' Belle was also awesome at Werchter and kicks things off with more of a bang. They're opening with it at the moment, I think, but that might be because they're not playing Different People. It's also more well known so would probably go down better in a festival headline slot.

I think Stingin' Belle is a brilliant opener, they'll either open the show with it, or open the encore with it, I'd imagine.

I get the feeling that they're proud of everything they do, and they love everything they do, and love that their fans love everything they do, whereas Arctics kind of seem to lose interest in a record once they've released and done the rounds with it and don't really think about fans when putting a set together. They've never really looked like they want to be on stage to me. They just seem to want to play quickly, and get it over with.

I remember Arctics were like my favourite band from year 6 to the start of year 9, then I discovered Biffy when Only Revolutions was released, and since then, Arctics have just dropped and dropped, wouldn't even put them in my top 20 at the moment.
