Yup, been said, it's never happened before I think. Eminem and SOAD are the only major one's I need to see. Biffy I'd like to but not with the possibly awful undercard to go with it. That said, a lot of the undercard from 3rd down on idea's I dislike.

There's no way they'd do that.

They may do another event under a different name, but i can't see them being booked for a big venue when they're not headlining R&L.

Yeah, but Soundgarden are more suited to an older aimed festival such as that. I just couldn't see HRC booking SOAD. I do wonder if there's room for a heavier version of day festivals.

Edit: however, after pondering that out loud, I realise the pool for heavy acts is small enough as it is, and is dominated by DL, so I can't see many wanting to compete with them.

I'm not being funny but I'd take any day of T last over over FOB and Foals as a top 2 and 3.

I'm still open to what T will bring but I'm thinking it's confirmed as much as it will be tonight that Biffy won't play T. You'd guess they'll hold out and headline it next year now.

If it was his comment about "closing the festival", I really think it's a throwaway line. Would he say closing the day? No of course not. I don't think you can read that much into it with that much certainty

I can't see them headlining download second stage. Plus if its a secret set at download R&L could easily still claim exclusivity.

They could do a couple of arena dates to go with R&L but that won't rule them out as festival exclusives.

Where else is their for them to play that fits their schedule?
