Firstly in advance congrats! We honeymooned at glasto in 2010 we married the weekend before glasto, most of the wedding party were at the festival with us too! It was awesome! We also had a festival themed wedding with yurts, marquees and the one and only Hobo jones & the junkyard dogs!

Best glasto ever!!! Apart from the gorillaz

Congrats!!

My brother and his fiancée are getting married the wknd before and Glasto will be there honeymoon too. He proposed on the hill above the park at the fest 2011.

I am going to try and organise a few special things for them during the fun this year, one thing is to do the sit down posh meal thing too.

They are going to get themselves second hand suit and wedding dress to wear during the festival too. Not sure who will be wearing what ;-)

Congrats.

We are getting married on the 22nd, date chosen specifically so we could go to Glasto immediately after. (Was a relief when we got tickets)

We arent doing anything particularly special just the "normal" Glasto, so drinking lots, eating Growlers and enjoying the best place on earth

Loving the fact your honeymoon is at Glastonbury!

I'm in a different if slightly connected situation where this Glastonbury is kinda my stag weekend with my old man. He's not coming to the official stag weekend (what happens on tour stays on tour!), but a chance to spend a week or so (his first Glastonbury) before I get married in September (and probably not get the chance to go with him again - kids of our own on the way etc!).

I guess we'll just be downing copious amounts of cider and soaking up the atmosphere!

Enjoy, and all the best for your big day!

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
    • Taxi mafia running their usual scam.
