Where Will Deftones Play?

Think fourth is probably about right... don't see them moving up the lineup unless they really struggle getting a decent sub and third.

I think they'll play third, purely because the organisers will look at them and think "these guys again, s'pose we'd beter put them up another slot from last time". Mustering up enough imagination to move them to a different stage has clearly been beyond them.

I'm calling Deftones to sub in 2015 and headline 2017.

Didn't Koi No Yokan win an NME award in which case they'd probably play third. Plus I couldn't really see en play any where else.

3rd. They've had a mini-resurgence in popularity since '11.

I thought 2010/11 was their resurgence in popularity hence them moving up a slot from 09 to 11.. Diamond Eyes was what really brought them back into form... Koi No Yokan has just been an incredible continuation of that resurgence.

Deftones are a weak 3rd, let alone sub.

They deserve to sub it really, but I'm not quite sure if they have the fan base to do it

I generally don't know how big their fanbase is, they seem to have got a positive reaction to the announcement. Tour dates sold well etc.

I think if they stayed as 4th although it may look a little stagnant they're stronger than what they were in 2011 and so will come across as a predictable but strong booking.

They were meant to have the video out for tempest a month ago, still nothing. Most bands would of had two videos by now. Very strange.
