Tesco gear always been a bit dodgy for me. Their inflateable beds are fine until the moment you lie on them. My tesco sleeping bag has all the thermal insulation properties of a wet Big Issue.

Sleeping bag and inflateable bed are two things you should get the very best you can afford. "Go" usually have a sale come November.

For those interested in such things the Bristol Cider Shop on-line selection (where you order a box of different ciders) includes a bottle of Glastonbury Cider Bus cider and a bottle of Pilton cider.

Dunno what they taste like yet tho - ordered whilst drunk last week.

White Ace mixed with Black Current juice is actually pretty tolerable. Makes me lose the feeling in my legs after a bit though.

In relation to this thread: you're getting 3litres worth of cider for just under 3quid. Bargain.

I've bought £10 wellies, expensive hunters, and wellies even better and more expensive than hunters, and guess what?

I'm now wearing a pair of wellies I paid just £6 for, and they're certainly no more uncomfortable than all of those others.

So don't waste your money on expensive wellies - cheap or expensive, they're all the same.

I have Dr Marten boots and wedge wellies (as the heel helps my back after 4 kids it is sad) and I think wellies are better, I have less blisters and they really can't complete with that mud I experienced last year!

Gaiters and boots are the way forward in my eyes. Whilst my mates were trying to not lose their wellies in the sticky mud, I was walking straight through. And I can garuntee they are more comfy.

I have walking boots, wellies and waiders and have used them all at Glastonbury. If I had to pick just one of those three now I reckon I'd run with the walking boots (if you'll excuse the expression). I've got Brasher Superlite boots which are like wearing slippers and don't let the water in.
