Last year's Fear and Loathing is On Demand and I'd say that it's probably the next one on there worth watching. Outside of that, I haven't actually seen many of the shows. I'll need to start using the damned service, given that I'm paying money for it!

on twitter there's supposedly been people asking sky reps via the sky website and they are saying that it will be an on demand internet service.

"delay due to some network and broadcasting issue, no exact date, sky sports not necessary to get the network, online service as it's an app where can access the archives of all live events, won't need to be a sky customer, and sky not a part of the delay" **

sauce: https://twitter.com/JedsWorld/status/530465590994272258

**take with a big pinch of salt as no one knows for certain what happened and is behind the delay

I don't think that Mark Dallas was lying about things. WWE had zero intention of starting the Network on Monday. They just had to take the focus and put it on themselves. This is a promotion that has targetted indies in the U.S. and tried to hurt them, like what they've been doing to DGUSA and ROH on Mania weekend. So a promotion drawing nearly 2,000 folk in the U.K. could be on their radar.

Hmmm im not sure that is true, Dom, I think it could have more to the fact the UK tour was upcoming and the free offer, I think they geniunely did try to get the Network up and running for now, I mean they will want to sell it whilst over here, every fan at those shows give them a flyer with the Network on it, lots of potential customers, but I think they have encountered an error or something thats not let them launch.

I bet the plan was always to try and launch with the UK tour, its THE best time for them to launch really. Media will cover WWE during the launch, WWE talent make media appearences over here where they can plug it, Just hasn't happened.

I reckon by that time they knew the likelihood was that it was going to be a channel rather than an on demand service though. Sky were never likely to be happy with the PPVs just being free on there, and I don't think WWE would have given a date without being sure. It bugged me as to just why WWE would announce the network if it wasn't set, and then it bugged me even more when Sky said they had nothing to do with it. This would explain it, and WWE have previous for this sort of behaviour.

Great news!!

Jim Ross, the preeminent voice of professional wrestling for the past four decades, has agreed to provide the play-by-play for Global Force Wrestling’s presentation of New Japan Pro Wrestling’s “Wrestle Kingdom 9” live on pay per view in North America on Jan. 4, 2015.

The Hall of Famer has called more pro wrestling PPV events than any broadcaster and is regarded as the greatest, play-by-play announcer in wrestling history. He will be returning to the mic at one of the biggest events in the world. This is the 24th year of NJPW’s annual extravaganza at the Tokyo Dome, where more than 40,000 fans from around the world are expected to attend.

“I am truly honored and excited to have been asked to be a part of this historic event,” Ross said. “To be able to return to my roots and to provide play by play for an amazing, pro wrestling product will be special. I never thought I’d ever return to ringside for a wrestling event but this opportunity was just too special to turn down.”

GFW founder and CEO Jeff Jarrett said he had been working on lining up Ross for weeks.

“When you think of the great events in wrestling over the past 30 years one of the things they have in common is the man behind the microphone. And that man is Jim Ross,” Jarrett said. “I’m excited for this event, and I’m excited for good ol’ JR to be a part of it. GFW fans wanted him, and from day one we have said we’re going to give our fans what they want.”

Sat down and watched it this afternoon (managed to avoid all spoilers).

Damn good show and would have obviously have been even better in person, wasn't the same watching Grado's entrance with the music removed (I assume due to Licensing laws as most entrance music was removed during the show which is understandable). Jester/Drew went exactly the way it should have - an old school brawl with the right man going over. Dar/Coffey was another highlight, NoamDar is only 21 and has a very bright future ahead in this business, I can see him becoming something special. Really enjoyed Wolf/BT Gunn too, would have preferred a winner but I guess it moves it on to the cage match.

What show should I watch next on the demand service?

I'm still new to ICW after getting into them after the BBC documentary and have attended two shows, starting to know all the wrestlers now and just love their product. Thinking of going to the next Barrowlands show which is the same night as WrestleMania.

Sorry I never noticed this before man, Yeah you should check out 1.21 Gigawatts if you can. Drew Galloways first match return vs Darkside, Grado vs Renfrew, Noam Dar vs Joe Coffey, Kenny Williams vs Kid Fite vs Damo vs Joe Hendry. Some great matches. I was also at that one and it was from The Garage. Well worth a watch if you find the time even if its just for the Drew Galloway match.

Yeah I've already got my tickets sorted for the Square Go and Barramania for next year can't wait for both. Really looking forward to Lionheart vs Jackie Polo at Barramania though. The Cage match at Square go is going to be amazing I reckon out of the past couple fights I've saw of BT Gunn vs Wolgang they have all been top class. Just saw that Chris Renfrew announced tonight he would be cashing in his briefcase at Square go too so it's going to be a good one.

I couldn't recommend any more to get tickets for the Barramania show and Square Go.

Have to agree on 1.21 Gigawatts.

Also, Get Mendoza has an incredible Tommy End vs. BT Gunn match, and Cabana/Grado is better than their first outing.

I'm missing Square Go and going to Barramania. Square Go has two top top ( cheers Redknapp ) matches though announced. I got my ticket for Barramania on the strength of Lionheart vs. Jackie Polo. Which incidentally was the match that sold me on Still Smoking for this year before it was unfortunately cancelled.

On Demand again. Show Me Your Lizard is a solid as hell show from start to finish. Need to get more shows watched now so will add more recommendations later.

Not checked to see if it's been put on, but it's NAK vs. Jester and Havoc. Which is definitely one of ICW's most brutal matches. I'd imagine Renfrew and Jester vs. Iceman and Havoc isn't too far away, which is definitely the most violent match I can remember seeing in ICW.

Sadly i've not seen either of them but I have heard about them, its deffos on the cards to watch NAK vs Jester/Havoc. I completely forgot about Shug's Hoose Party being on the network that's also a pretty good one to watch. That was my first ICW show and I've been hooked since.

I want to give Shug's Hoose Party a rewatch, but I've decided to watch what I haven't watched on there yet in order. So there's still a couple of shows to go I think. I can remember it being good though, and of course, the post-match shenanigans after the main event.

Watched HOH at the weekend was a FANTASTIC show and a great atmosphere, loved it from start to finish, felt like a proper wrestling show, felt like a 90's wrestling show and thats a good thing.

I also watched Raw last night and it was a decent go home show for Survivors, of course its only really built one match, but they did that well. Pretty sure theres only 4 matches on the card on Sunday.

Elimination

Wyatt v Ambrose

Divas

Was really surprised they had Harper go over Ziggler for the title! I think its a good move though, Harper has bags of potential, I'm looking forward to seeing where they go with this.

I don't really understand why Rowan has joined team Cena? Nothing has been mentioned about his and Harper's relationship since leaving The Wyatt Family, but there seemed to be some animosity between them when Rowan hit the ring.

Predictions for Survivor Series? Nikki to take the title from AJ, Ambrose to go over Wyatt to hopefully end this pointless, terribly built rivalry (Wyatt bores me to tears each and every week with his rambling, identical to the last one promos, which irritates me because Bray Wyatt should be the best character in the company). As for the Elimination match I think that someone will turn on Cena, probably Ziggler. The Authority are winning this, no two ways about it.

they'll chuck together a match or two on smackdown then if there's only 4 at the moment.

maybe have ziggles pull double duty and get his rematch or something.

then some random crap filler match - aka the bunny vs adam rose.... (toilet break)

    • I decided to goto bed early for the Aussie game rather than stay up for Scotland. I don't regret my decision, I also love the complete over reaction during the world cup when a player has 1 good game, that Watford winger is now everyones dream signing. Its also funny when clubs get into the hype and end up overpaying for someone who then does nothing in the prem.

    • I read the Kerrang review and they didn’t seem overly positive. The definition of a 6 out of 10.
    • Interesting the stat guys say 3 points and -3 goal difference is where it gets to 50/50 territory in terms of going to the last 32. If Scotland lose their last 2 at best they are on -1, play like they did yesterday and they could take a heavy loss.   However thinking about it positively get 4 points from the last 2 games and the group is won! Have heard a few saying Scotland should just park the bus next 2 games, but not sure they have the players to do it. From my perspective they could really do with a decent defensive midfielder to add balance, but not sure if they have one in the squad. They also need significantly more from Mctominay who I thought was poor, but understand he has been unwell.
