I gave the Destiny demo a go last night. I was really enjoying it up until I rage quitted when I was unable to kill some feckin wizard. Its only the second misson too.

Downloaded MGS: Ground Zeroes off of the PSN store last night as it is on offer for £7.50, interested to see what its like, haven't played MGS in yeeeaaarrrs.

Its a brilliant game once you get above about a level 16, until you get to about 24 - when the grind just becomes so grindy, that you give up and get frustrated with doing the same things ad nauseum.

Far Cry 4 is fucking brilliant, havent had this much fun with a game since Far Cry 3. I love it, only thing that is pissing me off is the fucking eagles attacking you that you can do nothing about. Hardly done any missions yet, just doing outposts and belltowers and hunting so I can carry loads of gear. There was one outpost that I just could not do for the life of me, in the end - I just silent sniped the 2 hunters that are absolute bastards, then released the tigers into the outpost and threw in some bait to rile them up. Did the trick in no time.

That's what I loved about Far Cry 3... there were always new ways of taking down outposts. I don't think I used the same technique twice. One of my favourites was covering a jeep in C4, driving straight into the middle of the outpost, jumping out and then detonating the C4. I eventually got shot, but it was great fun nonetheless.

One of my other favourite deaths was when I was trying to sneak into an outpost via a river. I swam down the river to a pier where there was a single guard that I was planning to take down stealthily. Just before I could climb out of the water I got attacked by a crocodile!

Also loving FC4, doing same as t8yman, just playing for towers and outposts (glad the new outpost master means I can go back and replay them, I also like taking down outposts in the most imaginative ways I can) rather than focussing on the campaign too much, although if you do a few missions it opens up things like arena mode, which can also be fun.

Eagles are quality, the satisfaction when you finally manage to kill one is great Rhinos however...bastards, the lot of them.

Anyone else pick up Dragon Age:Inquisition? It's brilliant, absolutely massive in scale. Anyone who likes fantasy I'd say it's a must buy.

Given the high-quality of Bioware DLC I have a strict policy of not purchasing any of their games within 12 months of purchase, preferable 18 months.

It left me out of being "in the in crowd" with the Mass Effects and previous Dragon Age games, but it is a policy that has served me well.

So yeah, I'm REALLY looking forward to this game... Spring 2016 it is.

Rhinos are ok if there is some higher ground/rocks around. Or you lay a mine

I had an outpost yesterday where I had everything lined up to take it down by stealth, until a pack of wolves spotted me - c**ts. Happened 4 times it did.

I also enjoy the outposts the most. Like others have said, it's brilliant to try and think of different ways to clear it.

I've sussed out that you can shoot out the alarm boxes with a silenced sniper rifle, didnt think it was possible, but it works a treat. The hunters are the biggest bastards as you cant tag them permanently, and they dont have a meter when they spot you. I always try and take them out first with a bow.

I also like letting them call in reinforcements, as its a lootfest when you do manage to kill them all - risky tactic though!

I took down one of the fortresses, mostly by leaping from roof to roof taking out helicopters with the one handed grenade launcher. It was almost too easy. Definitely going to go back and play that one again with stealthier tactics. The fortresses have 4 alarm boxes to take out that call in reinforcements in choppers, pretty badass.

I'd like to praise the Assassin's Creed advertising team, because every year trailers etc. pull me in, and every game ends up boring me to death. Apart from Black flag, that was alright.

It's becoming a bit of a "re-skinner", but I guess that happens to most games on a yearly cycle.

Luckily, I've avoided Unity like the plague, like I will be for all forthcoming AC games.

I finally cleared the tedious tutorial missions on AC3, which took me 18 months to do because it was soooooo boring.

Anyway, now I can run around like an idiot and climb up buildings and what not, I love it. Even if i am shit at the stealth aspect. Always have been.

When I get my Xbox One I'll be picking up Black Flag and Unity.

Yeah I've got the the first 3 AC games on Steam just sitting there, I had to uninstall them and never got back around to it.

Did enjoy the first for a bit but it does tire quickly once you realise you are basically doing the same missions over and over again. Once you get over the parkour style running about over roofs.
