Infinite Jest
Eels, as long as they don't play too much off the new album Geof, The Phoenix Foundation have an album out in April and are here in May. I wonder if they'll stay in Europe all summer, and could play EoTR? (They've only announced 4 shows, all in the UK, which isn't a lot if you're coming from NZ...) wackojackohighcliffe
Personally hoping for an Explosions in the Sky return but somehow I doubt it. Nick Cave would be great but I'm not convinced either. You know what would be great? Get Desaparecidos over here. Don't know if they could headline but they could definitely headline the Big Top. Just do it!
wolfamongwolves
Yeah a return of explosions in the sky would be great. I'm not too upset with the absence of band of horses, loved there first two albums , but personally the last two have been so poor. I would be happy with nick cave. I would love bonnie prince billy to make an appearance at eotr at some point.

thetime
ahhhhh thetime.....you certainly ain't changing your tune very much!!! I think you were closer to the mark when you suggested her for the 40,000 Latitude than the 15,000 End of the Road. I don't think they could afford her. SweepingTheNation
Band Of Horses is a bit underwhelming for a Green Man headliner, isn't it? It may be this is the first year EOTR's headliners are bigger names than theirs.
zahidf
Festival to small? Or bjork not big enough?
mrcaffs
One more vote for Eeeeeels - fingers crossed for them, their Bristol gig sold out and I really wanted to see them again Or Nick Cave would do I suppose Edited February 8, 2013 by mrcaffs
GeorgelogVIII
This will be my second End of The Road. I'm not sure but are you one of the people who run the festival Zahid you seem to know what you are talking about ? If so could you ask Simon and Sofia for The Wedding Present, Ty Segal, Pissed Jeans, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Teleman? zahidf
Ha, nope I am very much a festival punter and couldn't organise a Piss up in a brewery:) I think the organisers look on here occasionally, and they have member accounts. Fareham Grecian
Ooh, Teleman's a good shout! Album should be out by then. Also please: Allo Darlin (working on new album) Frightened Rabbit Night Beds Veronica Falls Heidi Talbot All the last 4 have fabulous new records. ElGanzo
Another shout for Nick Cave for headliner please! Would be wonderful. Really excited about Belle and Sebastian, Damien Jurado and Angel Olsen so far. Would also love to see Bill Fay play, think he would fit in nicely: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4eexG3oaPA Also echo the excellent shouts for Allo Darlin, The Wedding Present and the following would also be wonderful: -Deerhunter -Withered Hand (I ask this every year, I've heard at least three acts at EotR cover him so would love to actually have him there!) -King Creosote and Jon Hopkins. -Sharon van Etten -Bill Callahan -Bonnie Prince BIlly -Advance Base (for the Big Top) -Waxahatchee

wackojackohighcliffe
Bill Callahan and Bonnie Prince Billy would be great. But Les Savy Fav would be so brilliant. EOTR needs LSF. I repeat, Les Savy Fav!!!
cortezuk
I was wondering just who might be a festival exclusive and wondered whether any festival in the UK has announced Portshead yet? Or what about My Bloody Valentine who have a new album out?
Nick07
Good shout on Portishead. Couldn't be more underwhelmed if they get announced though as not fussed on other two headliners. Just hope it is Nick Cave and they pull off some quality additions further down the bill like Dawes, Father John Misty, Ty Segall, UMO, Bill Fay, Ducktails, Jim James.
