Last edition an extra day with performances was added, but this was with local acts only and the day was not included in the festival ticket. I think this extra day was because of the twentieth edition, so I don't expect it will return in 2013.

Camping usually is possible from the saturday prior to the festival, but since the festival ticket is valid from monday extra day tickets need to be bought for earlier entrance. Last edition these day tickets were priced €15 for the saturday and €17 for the sunday, the years before that €10 per day. I usually arrive as early as possible and use the first days to explore Budapest. This year I also went to the spa party in Szechenyi fürdo on the saturday before the festival and, as it was a great party, I definitely want to go there again next year. I found it a very nice extra to my festival holiday.

I have a horrible feeling that Kings of Leon will be playing, and if that's true they could be announced at any time.

Nice review lambo, gives a newbie a little insight.

Interested in the free coach from the airport you mentioned. Do you have to pre book? Or do you just turn up? Im presuming you need a city pass to use it, do you buy the city pass beforehand or once you get to the airport?

One last question(for now lol), does the free bus run on the monday when the fest starts?

Tickets for me and two friends bought!!!

Done many international festivals (Benicassim, Primavera, Oxegen, Rock Werchter, Coachella...), but first time in Sziget!!!

Any idea for the line up? Headliners?

Things like... Muse, Green Day, Kings of Leon, Daft Punk, The Prodigy?

I hope they make the first anounncement soon...
