You spend the best part of a week in a mobile free and WiFi free area an you miss out on surprises like the roses gigs ! Bah !

You might find the stereophonics at Kendal Mick, they seem to have disappeared for a few years so I reckon the festival circuit might be on the cards next year for email . If not Kendal then they may appear at Glastonbury

Anyone think there will be a Kendal announcement this week ? The presale tickets I got last year were on the 11th November in time for Xmas delivery. You would have thought if they were doing the same this year there would be a push on it soon. Seems to have been awfully quiet on that front

Still think there's time to get something out there, I mean the roses info only came out at the start of the week and the tickets are sold out already. If they're done as an 'arrive before Xmas so u can give them as a present offer' then I'm sure they'll sell them pretty quick like they did last year. I wait with baited breath !

There needs to be otherwise Lakelands gonna have nowt to moan about for the next year !

The announcement for last year didn't come out till early November either, swapped a quick email with the lads and to put the possible 'No Kendal Calling in 2013' rumour to bed before it spreads round I've been told that the early ticket release should be publicised in the next few weeks !

Money at the ready

Wouldn't mind seeing the bootleg Beatles, Maybes Smith's indeed but that's about as far as is go with tribute acts. I was at Glastonbury in 2009 but it was never close on my radar to see Bjorn again, my mate got robbed Thursday night so we spent the opening few acts of Friday morning trudging to the police lock up in the far corner to report it. Think the first act we caught was the whip who played Kendal last year as well

I know this is not festival related, but maybe one or two of the regulars here would like to support a bit of fun fundraising that I'm partaking in.....

Any donations gratefully accepted!! I've got a feeling that I'll end up looking like a 70s porn star (or an albino mexican) by 30th Movember!!

    • The Great Fete Festival (Sunday Only) Ocean Colour Scene day on Tickets For Good.
    • I was also at Ghost but seated. When they scanned my ticket's and they came up as seated they printed a small ticket with the seat number info.
    • I was standing for Ghost at O2 London last year where they put the phone in a pouch beforehand so I assume they're is a mechanism in place for people in seats.
    • Most likely not, keeping an eye on Tixel and Twickets might be the best option.
