Unimaginatively I am called Peter, and my surname begins with a D. I used to be called Babybird as I love Steve Jones and his work under that moniker. Increasingly at festival meet ups I felt a bit dickish saying I am babybird and feeling people sounded disckish saying I am birdfucker2101 so I had Neil change my user name to reflect my real name.

yeah, that would be the very best, but that one was and is long gone - established in its own right.

Next best would be festivals.co.uk. Which is mine (bought in [i think] 2002 for a few grand).

I've also picked up efestivals.com along the way - which cost a significant amount more than a few grand.

Would be good if you could do something 'proper' with festivals.co.uk its such a good domain name  easier said than done though.

until the end of last year it simply directed itself to here. Then I decided to try and do something different and proper with it, spent a huge pile of money on getting it sorted .... and no fecker is interested.

There's something there that's 'proper' now, but I'm not sure how long that might remain. It's doing little of any good for anyone.

When I was in school a group of kids thought it would be funny to yell spindly at me whenever I walked past (they also like to spit in my face and occasionally beat the crap out of me) because I was 6 feet tall at 12 and can't gain muscle/fat so have always been one of those painfully thin people for whom the elbows are the largest part of my arms and look pretty funky. I appropriated it as my own, it evolved into spindles among my friends through high school and eventually became Spin, which people still call me today.

My name isn't Dave, nor am I a hedgehog.

Got it from Bottom - Christopher Ryan's character's called Dave Hedgehog.

"Why do they call you Spudgun?"

- Give me a potato and I'll show you what I can do with it.

I feel terrible, because I am not really Yoghurt on a Stick either. I'm just a lump of plain old Yoghurt. No stick.

All this 'opening up' is good in a way, but it doesn't excuse you Dave! What you've done is unforgivable. Look what you've done to AcademicPistol.
