Your own personal ultimate Reading Festival

Thought I'd try to come up with, from my own personal PoV, the best lineup that Reading could sort-of-feasibly provide for me. By this I mean all bands in more-or-less the positions as if they had been booked this year (although I have moved The Hives up because their placing is bizarrely low), vague 'theme' running through each main stage day, right balance of acts from different genres and eras, etc. Can only include bands which could actually be booked right now - no defunct bands (even if they could theoretically reform)! Basically, you're playing Reading Festival Booker: The Video Game. This is what I've come up with (and it demonstrates just how well-served I've been by the festival the last few years :D):

I got bored at work again. So why not. I just jumbled up the days/stages. Ensuring a dance/rock/alternative/punk headliner on each night. I also deleted some of the poop and replaced it with other stuff I like ha. As popular as they are... I've given Enter Shikari the year off.

I like it your lineup! And yeah, need to pitch Festival Manager to Sega or someone. Start off at a local fest and end up booking for Glastonbury, use real acts (including new ones thanks to the wonders of the internet). I'd buy it, and so would the other couple of dozen people on here who make their own lineups :D.

Not gonna bother adding an NME because it'd be pointless creating a clash. :P This is Leeds POV by the way:

Primal Scream

Happy Mondays

The Gaslight Anthem

We Are Scientists

Graham Coxon

Howler

Dog Is Dead

SATURDAY

Rage Against The Machine

Billy Talent

Pure Love

SUNDAY

Arcade Fire

Pulp

Manic Street Preachers

Public Enemy

Maximo Park

Feeder

Eagles Of Death Metal

Young Knives

Yuck

I know a lot of the bands on there are oldies, but yeah.

Cheers dude :) I just realised I put White Lies twice, it should be Editors below The Stone Roses and Dizzee :P haha yeah that'd be pretty awesome, get pitching haha.

Also, for my lineup, I'd have CKY, Smut Peddlers on the Lock Up too. And maybe The Network who could play a few Green Day tunes too :P! Would be so unlikely though :L

Fantastic line-up, I'd definitely pay to go to this in an instant. But one question; Sonic Youth 5th from top, are you out of your fucking nut? (I'm sorry if that comes off as harsh, I just really really really really really love Sonic Youth... and they've split).
