will the 2013 line up be the best ever?

Next years line up is always the best ever, just like every years festival is the best ever, per Eavis. Until the next year!

I would say that every year the same rumours come to the surface, rolling stones, Radiohead (headline slot), etc, and they rarely actually happen. It's impossible to know who will be on the line up until Eavis announces it.

I'd also mention that 2011 was probably one of the biggest line ups ever, with U2 and Radiohead playing the Friday and Pulp and Coldplay the Saturday. Whether you like those or not, thats one hell of a line up!

I think they have to find some way to top 2011 and radiohead, u2 and beyonce as headliners are very hard to beat!

maybe the black eyed peas? or the sunday jay z, with kanye, beyonce, rihanna all featuring etc?

I don't really care who the Pyramid headliners are, I'd rather a decent mix over all the stages, It's the other stuff going on that makes me pay my cash.

Of course if Daft Punk played it would be pretty decent.

A think few, if any, bands can match the global impact and worldwide popularity of U2 and Coldplay. And then add the largest female artist in the world.

Daft Punk who havn't played concerts in 5 years, Rolling Stones farewell gig/tour + Radiohead would be a good start tho!

Trent says NIN aren't touring anymore. Radiohead is unlikely if you ask me. Most people seem to think that PJ are too "heavy" for Glasto. As are Tool.

and some other of acts of varying popularity....but it will be the greatest festival ever

I'm rather hoping that the headliners at the Pyramid are going to be bands I've either seen before or have no interest in watching, so I won't feel too bad about missing out on them when I hang out at the smaller stages

Obviously there is much more to it that the two big stage lineups, but as they go, I think 2003 would be fairly hard to beat

Pyramid: REM, Radiohead, Moby, Manics, Flaming Lips, Suede, Supergrass, Feeder, The Music, Macy Gray, Mogwai, Polyphonic spree, De la Soul, Jimmy Cliff, ADF, Echo & the Bunnymen, (+ some guff, but less than normal)

Other Stage: Primal Scream, Super Furrys, Doves, Sigur Ros, Goldfrapp, Royksopp, The Coral, Grandaddy, Electric Six, Grandaddy, Cooper Temple Clause, Libertines, Interpol (+lots of other stuff)
