Just to save starting a new topic, Last time i went (2009) they stopped selling brothers in the big bottles at the brothers bar near the jazzworld stage, i was just wondering if anyone knows if this was still the case last time? this information will seriously affect the levels of booze i drag into the festival with me!

According to the Brothers website it's being sold exclusively at Scream outlets;

On sale Monday 23rd January

Rhubarb & Custard launches in Scream outlets on 23rd January. The five winners will be given a tour of the factory to see it being created, and have also won a year’s supply of Brothers cider. A further 100 runners up received a Brothers Official Cousin T-shirt.

This new flavour will replace the Lemon syrup on draught, and will run as an exclusive syrup flavour for Scream.

Aw man The Registry! That used to be awesome, was gutted when it shut down. Met a guy in there back in 2009 who I saw for a bit, didn't work out cos he didn't have a computer of all things.

i had never heard of a 'scream pub', so i googled it.

student-marketed pub chain

good grief, i think the only thing more likely to put me off going to such an establishment would be seeing the word 'Wetherspoon' above the door.

yes, i am old. yes, i am a pub snob.

If we are talking about the same girl, she used to live in the room above me in halls! I cant remember her name for the life of me though, good laugh though! You arent the only one who said a few stupid things to her...

Yeah the one opposite the Hampshire Boulevard, with the rainbow flag, and union.

Most of my lectures were in the Buckingham Building, or the Portland building down near the business school. All taught in the Geography department.

I was there at Uni a similar time as well 2003-2007 Had a great time there, tend to go back at least once a year, although now they've dropped down a few leagues there's no football excuse, well not entirely true as have gone to matches not against Villa. Might even go there in couple of weeks for my Birthday as it is a convenient meeting point for my best mates from uni.
