I saw an interview with him many years ago where he said the reason he got into politics was to meet women. I find.

yep, the 27 year old. He's still rumoured to be married to the last one I believe

I like him really, I could watch his youtube clips for hours.

But of course he can never be considered a serious politician. He lost all his credibility years ago. He should just be wheeled out every now and then to make the TV interviewers and other lying politicians squirm.

Why can't he be considered a serious politician? You need guys like him.

Nope, my intention is state some unpalatable truths to the likes of you who wish to brush over them, to try and make you aware that he can't be considered a serious politician of the left or of anything else.

He's good for a laugh. He's occasionally good for sticking the boot into the sorts of things that tend to be taboo for other politicians. But I'd fear him in charge of the country no less than I do Dave Moron and slimy Gideon despite his supposed left wing views.

I like him to be fair. Was only taking the piss. Theres been very senior politicians still considered "serious politicians" who have done a lot worse.

Like unilaterally invading countries and bombing them into the stone age etc.

His views on abortion are pretty abhorrent, he's a hypocrite and a chancer. He's entertaining and a very good orator, that's also true. But I want people with higher standards representing me, so I'm not going to lend my unequivocal suport to people like him.

Yeah, a good win in Bradford, and part of me delights in him giving the middle ground parties a bloody nose every now and then, but still, I'm deeply deeply suspicious of him.

Can we not group Galloway on the left? He's one of those people who has done some really good stuff, but ruined it by worse stuff. I've only recently moved to his old constituency (Poplar/Limehouse) and got to hear some of the true stuff.
