It's the city affect of it I don't like. Going to Reading, to go out and back in felt like going to a series of gigs and not back to a festival, this is why i don't think I could ever do Lollapalooza. Bannaroo looks very hit and miss lineup wise or only like the headliner and maybe band under I want to see.

I'm presuming Coa has an arena like R&L? Just I saw a video of people walking from cars to a dance tent.

The bit where Radiohead played part of After The Gold Rush sounded beautiful, wish they'd done the whole song!

Gotta say though, too many newer songs in their set for me, could have done with more from the first three albums.

THIS. If Radiohead had continued to release albums like Pablo,Honey, they would have just been another generic rock band with nothing special about them, the same with The Bends to an extent, though there are some very good tracks on that. It's albums like OK Computer, Kid A and In Rainbows that have made me fall in love with their music. They're continuously experimenting with their sound and refusing to stick to a formula, but still maintaining that headline and arena band status on their own terms.

The Bends was a really good bridging evolution between Pablo Honey and OK Computer. It's a cracking album, but it sounds nothing like their later stuff. Taken on its own merits, it's a cracking, and interesting, rock record. Of course, they're not a rock band any more, so a lot of the songs don't fit in nowadays.

I'm continually amazed by the lack of love for Amnesiac. Pyramid Song, You and Whose Army and Knives Out are some of my absolute favourite Radiohead songs, interspersed by songs of amazingly subtle effect. I can't listen to it as often as I can their other greats, but I still adore it.

The Bends has my favourite Radiohead song on it (Fake Plastic Trees), but there's also quite a bit of filler. I rated it on here recently as my 4th or 5th favourite album by them. I love Pyramid Song and You And Whose Army on Amnesiac and do agree that it's a very good album, just not up there for me with the genius of OK Computer, Kid A and In Rainbows.

I'll have to check some of these out when they inevitably get chopped up and put on eBay.

A lot of people rave about Coachella but I can't get excited about a festival that only lets you drink inside certain barriered areas and has it's campsite marked out with no erecting tents outside of the marked bays. Lollapalooza always seemed far less pretentious and more like R&L (when you're in the arena, the lack of camping is obviously a difference).

So what's peoples views upon the tupac hologram?

Tasteless? Inventive? Good use of technology? Adds to the live performance? Makes the performance too per-rehearsed and less live? Would you like to see anyone back from the dead? Nirvana, Beatles? Good for a fest or not? Good for own shows?

    • Considering how popular of a booking Scooter have been I think they'd go down well
    • I mean I think unless you are camped in a particular bit which apparently you just get no sleep i feel it would be better setup to travel in from a hotel each day and back. Ah there is so many downfalls to it for me, I think the Download main stage area is so much better and that's coming from me. If you're camped in green to go round all the time and out for lidl and even water is stupid!
