thesecretingredientiscrime
I like it. Though not too sure about Arctic Monkeys more recent stuff. Next year better be good!!!
Mr Mr
The last three tracks Arctic Monkeys have released are the best they've ever recorded as a band.I think they will go back to Glasto before returning to R&L though. Even if Libertines were to kick things off again, I think they'll be at Glasto before.

A Weekend In The City
Green Day or System of a down headlining with Slipknot/Avenged sevenfold subbing Bloc Party with Franz Ferdinand subbing Bruce Springsteen with Biffy subheadling That'd be pretty sweet if it came true, I still cannot believe Florence is a sub headliner, she really is not that big in my opinion. A Weekend In The City
Im afraid your so wrong about florence, she sold out arenas straight away.
thetime
She does nothing for me at all, she's had like 2 singles worth mentioning, 1 of which was a collaboration too, and her x-factor appearance was clearly a decent publicity stunt, i'll be avoiding her like the plague, i've heard she's pretty dire live too :/
A Weekend In The City
Oh I know, obviously the festival isn't catered around me, I hate kasabian but atleast see the reason for them headlining. I just think Florence will crash and burn horrendously, I hope Tonsilitus or something comes her way.
Ronnie_B
Just on the subject of Libertines and some people saying they should be on NME, this would cause deaths. I'd like to think Frank Turner would get a shot at headlining NME, loads of people are gutted he won't be there this year, god knows he's worked hard enough, recently racking up his 1200th gig. Sam Halliday
Biffy Clyro, Blur and Pearl Jam headlining. Bloc Party and Paramore subbing. The rest of the undercard will include Crystal Castles, Frank Turner, The Vaccines, Enter Shikari, The Cribs, Two Door Cinema Club, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Horrors, The Maccabees and The Gaslight Anthem. Sam Halliday
Actually, with all this talk about people thinking Bloc Party can headline, what is the biggest venue they've played as one of their own gig? I know the Reading Festival kids love them, but I only had them down as an Academy sized band?

Ronnie_B
Mumford & Sons & Noel Gallagher could both sell out arena tours in half the time that Bloc Party could, it's interesting that neither of them are rumoured headliners but Bloc Party are.
