dacbo
It's the last day that you can buy at Early Bird Prices - RDB tweeted earlier. I assume they'll get rid of the payment plan as well?

Paul ™
Nope the payment plan will continue for a bit, but will just reduce the months and increase the amounts.. Hi all For your information, the price for adult ticket is going up tomorrow by £10 for Thursday entry and £5 for Friday entry. there will also be a student ticket for £170. The payment plan will continue after today, but at new prices Why not get on board the payment plan now? pay a sixth of the total (early bird if you buy today) ticket price now (plus the total booking fee) and then pay the rest over the following 5 months. and at no additional cost... will end up costing exactly the same as if you'd bought it in one go
LondonTom
Still debating to go for it 10 pound cheaper or wait and see!!

lifelessfool
I got mine in just in time! Payment plans are such a good idea.
Dog Burger
Just looked into this, as my partner and I would really love to go to Bestival, but REALLY can't afford it! The total repayment price comes to £195.20. I appreciate postage and booking fee are included, but that's £15.20 above the £180 ticket price. Is this correct? Paul ™
Yeah its the same price to buy it outright or to use the payment plan.
Homer
Yeah, but it's cheaper if you do the payment plan because the payments are, like, spread out (that's what I told myself anyway and it seemed to work for me!).
Dog Burger
So the booking fee and postage amount to £15.20, yeah? Sounds decidely steep!
dan8k
It is steep, its a £10 booking fee, but im sure the postage is combined for how many tickets you buy.
Paul ™
Most larger festivals (Glasto excluded) are around 10% booking fee plus postage. Special Delivery is just over £5 these days alone.
LondonTom
I think most gigs even are around 10/12% booking fee, just seems less obviously with gig tickets . (At least for academy/arena sized venues.)
dingbat2
On Bestival's Facebook site today.... "If you haven't got your tickets yet and want to spread payments for Bestival tickets over 6 months, tomorrow is the last day to do so. On Wednesday, it will switch to a 5 month payment plan x"
LondonTom
Oh thats decent of them just switching down the months!!! Still not fully decided :S I am leaning towards it but trying persuade a mate still, hoping the headliner impresses her on Wednesday
LondonTom
Couldn't find anywhere else to say and didn't wanna start a new thread But I got my tickets All fully paid up
Dog Burger
Does anyone know whether once you've started a payment plan you can cancel it and get any form of refund? I've paid the £50 deposits for two tickets and the first monthly instalment of £30 each - so £160, but it's looking decidely bleak financially, and I can't see any way we're going to be able to keep the payments going. I've emailed Ticketline and asked the question, but had no response. I'm wondering whether I could get a full refund of what I paid, or failing that if I simply cancel the direct debit what the outcome will be. Anyone seen any information on this? Paul ™
Am afraid the money paid is non-refundable. Best option is to continue paying it off somehow, then sell the tickets once you have received them. It's not a direct debit either, it's a re-occuring card payment so you would need to cancel that card.
