pship7
Thanks for the reply. Sounds like exactly the sort of festival that would suit us. The festival ticket cost is covered by The Prodigy, QOTSA & Arctic Monkeys for me, so any other acts I like that get announced are a bonus. I've been to Pukkelpop before and it was unbelievably good. But that's exactly what puts me off wanting to go again if the line-up isn't as good. Never understood why festivals don't release their line-ups as soon as the bands are booked. Do they want my money or not?!?!
Operator
no problem good question, only festival organisers will be able to answer that one. I could imagine bands not wanting festival dates announced before the band announce their complete tour themselves and on the organiser hand of course you have to keep up the antici........PAtion (<- rocky horror/frank n furter reference) of the crowd and announce them when they think it's right, or could be something completely different. Operator
only info I can give is that they have about 3-4 announcements running up to the festival and I think a last one with the final few (smaller) names a few weeks before it starts. Noeliam
So it's less than an announcement/month! Any idea if we can still hope for a big band? (like KoL or The Killers).

Noeliam
The headliner tommorow will be a girl, or at least the lead singer will be (the same source as yours).

Dietediet
Lana is still going on after QOTSA, which I'd consider equally weird.
