So after 29 pages of speculation, we are still no further forward on the other 2 headliners

Odelay in its entirety. Beck is going to happen, i sacrificed a child to the Gods lastnight, asking for Beck to headline, so it is going to happen.

PJ Harvey played last year (apparently she was v good but I was mincing around to Frankie and the Heatrstrings at the time - which I thoroughly enjoyed).

Primus - wildcard choice, royal albert hall gigs, not announced for any other festivals

Daft Punk - i know Rob said no....but doesn't he say that every year about some headliners?

Bloc Party - not announced for R&L or V....the obvious choices

Deadmau5 - doing the rounds

Chemical Brothers - Don't Think released, could be promoting the DVD?

Faith No More - wildcard choice, nothing suggesting they're a sonisphere exclusive (in 2009 did Download AND R&L)

The Black Keys - are they an R&L exclusive?

Gorillaz - Albarn might fancy it especially after the buzz of playing with Blur again

Jack White - we know why he's a possibility......could he do it?

Queens Of The Stone Age - EODM have been booked for R&L, maybe because QOTSA had been booked? new album....

The Smashing Pumpkins - rumoured for R&L.....hasn't happened

Arctic Monkeys - still hyping the new album.....no other UK festival dates

Flight Of The Conchords - be a very alternative headliner, but great fun!!

Primus - far too niche, not a Bestival-style act.

Daft Punk - no, Rob doesn't say no about acts that end up headlining (we've been through this over & over again).

Bloc Party - possible, but I think their status has slipped, not risen, since their subbing at R/L days.

deadmau5 - Creamfields is his last UK show of the summer (though Bestival is technically autumn).

The Chemical Brothers - no Bestival headliner has ever headlined twice, and Rob's said it's not them anyway.

Faith No More - Sonisphere exclusive.

The Black Keys - Rob's said none of the Coachella headliners are playing Bestival.

Gorillaz - possible, but I don't think they're currently active, what with the Blur reunion.

Jack White - possible.

QOTSA - possible, though it looks like this is an Eagles year for Josh Homme.

Smashing Pumpkins - couldn't even headline a Smashing Pumpkins convention these days.

Arctic Monkeys - probably too big for Bestival, not a Bestival type act anyway.

Conchords - possible I suppose, seems highly unlikely though. You'll be saying Tenacious fucking D next...!

I'd be really disappointed if it was Jack White, I love White Stripes, his solo stuff just seems a bit too small. It's a bit like Noel Gallagher or Beady Eye headlining last year, it just isn't right, has he even released anything yet?
