lharris92
download twitter is a bit more active today, saying people attending are going to get spoilt on choice. by the looks of it, is another band confirmed. wonder who it may be
luckysalt
To me that sounds choice between headliners, will hate having strong second stage headliners against.what we have already Van Halens tour dates are up. US tour from mid Feb until end of June
neilloggie
Hope it's leaked before that, I'm having an operation on my knee that day and am likely to be too conked out on painkillers (and weed, I'd imagine) to remember to listen/check for the announcement! jordanuk90
What do people think about Howard leaving Killswitch? With them being confirmed for Euro shows in June surely there was a chance of a slot at Download. I see Phill from ATR has denied joining. luckysalt
Posted on Download Forums in a magazine [think it's Metal Hammer] interview with FFDP and they self confirm QUESTION- Any UK Festival Appearences in the pipeline? ANSWER - Yes, we are coming back to Download. We promise we will behave. We promise we'll cause no more riots. So guys, we won't tell all 90,000 of you to crowd surf during our set, and we will not encourage it to happen, okay? If you do it on your own, well thats something we are not responsible for. No I'm not winking, something just went in my eye.
luckysalt
Andy Copping has said FFDP aren't playing
huntyyy
Is he the only ONLY person who books bands, because he didn't explicitly say they aren't 'playing'. He said HE hadn't 'Booked' Them. Maybe I'm reading too much into what he said but you know, I don't even like them much!
luckysalt
I see what you're saying there but yes I believe he is.
theramm
I think they'll be there. I read his comments & immediately thought that Metal Hammer were going to get another bollocking off Live Nation for printing it (despite what might've been said in the i'view) or that the business side of the deal wasn't 100% yet but as far as FFDP themselves were concerned they'd said yes. gazza_20
Pretty sure it came up a few days back now how AC does the booking himself for all his fests whilst other fests are run by someone but bookings by someone else
