Excellent choices chap! 'We Are Scientists' will be a definite highlight...its weird, they always strike me as being a band who don't know how good they are...been listening to them a lot since they were announced for Kendal and their albums are all really strong.

Shed 7 are a fantastic band live - never yet see them do a bad gig - and I've seen them a lot. My favourite song is On Standby mind you, followed by Bully Boy.

They had 2 outstanding tv moments.

Bully Boy on the Big Breakfast with added hair and Going For Gold on Top of the Pops - the best suit ever worn by anyone (Witter looked like he was about to go in the oven)

I've been listening to them since they released their first album years ago and seen them 5 times since and they never get boring. Turns out they're quite the comedians too which makes for great onstage banter. Really can't wait to see if they play any new stuff

Bombskare played Wickerman just about every year I went. Real good time Ska with a full set of brass and major skanking. Also from Edinburgh so they play here a lot obviously and have a good core following.

Break out the rude boy clobber and away you go. If you are not impressed I'll buy you a pint and a pork pie hat.

Might not be relevant but this is what they played at the Big Stooshie at the start of the summer. Well I say summer, it was hail stones !!

Oh My Heart, Seven, Ring The Bells, Laid, Jam J, PS, Space, Sound, Lose Control, Johnny Yen, Medieval, Stutter, She’s A Star, Waltzing Along and Sometimes with an encore of Hey Ma, Sit Down and Getting Away With It (All Messed Up).

      I agree but anyone under Rodrigo would be a sub in reality, that day would sell out in under an hour whoever is subbing, in which case Wolf Alice would make a lot of sense   The more unrealistic part of the scenario at this point is Rodrigo headlining

      All you can say is...     If he couldn't convince nations that really would've benefitted from the short-term hit of an up-front £50mil payment by this time next year, what hope did he have?   Guess we'll now just have to monitor and see if this could derail Infantino's plans to be re-elected FIFA President next year.

      Spider-Man: Brand New Day   Highlight was a bloke reacting to the post-credit scene by going "Holy f**k it's Tobey Maguire!" despite the scene having no reference to him at all. Which made my close-to-full screening of the film laugh a lot.   Film was pretty good. It was interesting as much as an exploration of the ramifications of the end of No Way Home and being about isolationism and male loneliness, which I thought it actually did quite well. Though I do ponder if I liked it as much as the other 3 Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. Sadie Sink was good tbf, while I also liked Jon Bernthal as Punisher, enough that I might go watch his Disney+ shows.   Seem to have had a Marvel kick recently having also watched Thunderbolts and Shang-Chi, both of which I thought were pretty good.

      Wolf Alice won't get headliner for Reading either, they will sub if they play, that is where their level has stopped I feel. Both TFG and Skyvip for the big shows this year was just a stretch too far. Every headliner this year is bigger than them too I'd say.   Agree with Capaldi I don't think Yungblud will be at Reading. I would guess Bludfest 3 or Download.
