why? He was saying there was that rumour on this site. There never was.

That other site is filtered here because of a concerted spamming campaign that was driven in-house from there last summer. Until that happened it wasn't filtered.

Cheers mate, but in all honesty he doesn't have to. I was right but I was claiming 100 to be fair on Efests until I then realised I would have had both pages open and just confused one for the other, he was saying he guarantees I'm wrong it's on his site and he was right so fairplay to him really.

Message on the fb page:

Dear Hop Farmers. We know you are all eager to see what we have lined up for the summer and we really appreciate your patience. We'd love to blurt out and tell you all who we have booked but there are few things we need to iron out first. We are getting super close now and once everything is perfect we will let you in on the secret... all good things come to those who wait.. and it won't be much longer until we announce our first set of bands, we promise farmers. Thank you again for bearing with us!!

Vince who has been in a Promoter for many years does things his way.

He has spent money on establishing a Hop Farm Festival and there would have to be a bloody good reason before he would be willing to dump a event.

Time will tell but I would be very surprised if he pulled the plug. and I have known him for over twenty years.

SupaJam have been running competitions for bands to play slots at Hop Farm - would be very surprised if they then cancelled:

I can confirm that "Yossarian" and "Flight Brigade" are playing at least...

I wonder if Hop Farm will suffer from being one of the latter festivals to release their line-up. I'm sure there are some people who have seen line-ups elsewhere that have appealed so have bought tickets to that instead rather than taking the risk on waiting to see if Hop Farm is going to be worth it for them.

I wouldn't say so. I can be corrected if I'm wrong, but I'd say Hop Farm has a very small demographic due to it's line-up focus, and that demographic will remain loyal, due to the lack of other fests focusing exclusively on that area. I'm generally talking about long term fans of the acts, and people who prefer to go to festivals based on "classic acts".

    • Hezbollah rejected it. Really Israel should get the f**k out, and US and others should support the Lebanese govt in defeating Hezbollah.
    • Still thinking Reform might scrape a win in Makerfield and it will be the biggest LOL ever.
    • Yeah, 10 minutes could be better but it's definitely far from disastrous.
