Finally finishing unpacking after selling our house and moving I to a temporary home. Doing all this with a 7 week old baby has not been fun! Now I can finally enjoy The Christmas holidays after not stopping for 2 months

normal is like when your not spending cash on stupid presents for one and all sending bloody cards to people youve forgotten even having to talk to your neighbours .

My day has been made in so many ways. A perfect family day, everyone realising that I can be brilliant at presents if I try (and if I bankrupt myself in the process), no arguments, getting a Soda Stream (I am well aware how sad my loving this present so much is) and getting the efestivals calendar from my girlfriend!! Everyone else has gone to bed and there's only one way to finsh my perfect day: A large Drambuie, a cheeky smoke and a bit of telly - perfect.

Had the most relaxing Christmas ever yesterday. No worries on my mind, great company with family and Grandparents, just sitting there chilling and enjoying the food.

All visits and visitors have now been done. Can now relax for the next 2 days with no work or jobs to do. Then have a full on party to attend where I currently live. Going to have a blast in the knowledge that if I want to crash I'll have a bed available. Starts at 2pm so is going to be a biggie.

Relaxing in bed is as good as relaxing elsewhere. I suspect you've earned the right to relax, so would argue that you've not wasted the day. In fact, you may have got the most out of it. I slept in bed until 2pm today. I don't think the sleep was wasted. More like much needed.
