That's balls, any manager that relegates this current Everton squad would have to be unbelievably inept.

or alternatively, any manager who gets that squad performing at the level it has has to be unbelievably good. ;)

I'd say that's the case. He's been there so long you've forgotten just how good a job Moyes has been doing for you.

LOL... What utter tripe... You should be WAY more thankful to Moyles... He is propping you up rather than holding you back...

I can't see anyone bettering Moyles without increased funds...

Is Moyles the best manager in the world and has got everything out of Everton anyone ever could... Probably not...

But from what I have seen it is clear he is very good... and given the lack of money knocking around the chances of you picking up someone better than Moyles who can exceed what he has done, or even maintain it has to be VERY low odds...

If you don't fear him moving on then it isn't me who is dumb...

to say another manager could not possible come in and move things on further is just plain dumb.

True - but no less or more than believing that another manager could come in and have you relegated.

Both are within the range of possibilities. Just remember that you can fall much further than you can climb.

I don't want Moyes gone if I had the choice

apart from when you post to say you want him gone, as you've done in the past.

This time last year people said that Liverpool's squad was a top 4 squad.

We'll get to find out the truth of things for Everton is Moyes moves on.

But be careful what you wish for.

Very true and one of the reasons why I haven't been a proper "supporter" for a while now... Amongst many reasons...

But your not getting off that lightly though... The level of self interest and greed operated by some though is staggering in comparison to others. Not everyone voted in favour of the Prem for example, well not initially anyway... and the the little european club of top teams quietly fucking everyone else over is a joke...

Everton have finished in the top 10 for the last 5 years, this kind of suggest that they have a top 10 squad.

"suggests" - yup. Proves? nope.

'Arry took over a Spurs team, did very little to the squad, and suddenly they're around the top and not around the bottom. What 'Arry did happens in reverse too.

Any squad of players can only play at their best if everything is set up for them to do that, and that includes having a manager to get the best out of those players.

No, we would be far more likely to finish 6th next year under a new manager than get relegated

the recent history of football is full of fan statements like that that have been proven wrong.

I'm not 100% saying that you are wrong, just that your certainty is misplaced.

I've never said I've wanted him gone before, I've said many times that I wouldn't mind a change, esp at the start of November when the oh so magnificent Moyes has once again managed to completely balls up the start of a campaign.

then who is the other Everton fan who regularly posts here and has posted more than once over the years that they want Moyes gone?

Name 10 better squads in the Premier League

Yes, many managers can do this, its not only Harry Redknapp and David Moyes, maybe we'll get Harry Redknapp in and he'll take Moyes 7th best squad in the league and take them to the title!

This whole Everton are only where they are because of David Moyes, is true, as I say though, its not now because of his day to day management, its what he's done in the background but, Im sure you all know much, much better than me as you watch Goals on Sunday where 'Kams' creams his kecks over him

No one would have put Newc finishing as high as they did, and that sort of thing works the other way around too.

I'm merely pointing out that Everton's recent-years achievements are a combination of everyone at the club - Moyes included - and not just the players.

If any element is taken away, then nothing about the future can be guaranteed - as Pienaar's going and coming back got to demonstrate this season.

There's plenty of clubs with better background set-ups than Everton have, and they're not even in the top flight.

Lots of talk about Harry going to Everton possibly in something of a swap deal... ...minus a deal ...

can't see 'Arry taking a no-money job. Then again, I'm not sure what job he'd get in this country now.

Still, we'll get to see if the stories he's been feeding the press to try and get an improved contract with huge extra money about being wanted in the middle east for huge money are true or not.

And it's all rather strange for a man who swore on the bible in court that he's not interested in money. Perhaps he should be got back into court for perjury?

Do you actually know anything about Everton's facilities?

I don't, but I can't believe they've been outspending plenty of other clubs who've also upgraded theirs whilst being ion a far better financial position than Everton are.

But anyway, at the end of the day a training pitch is a training pitch. It's only as good as the players who are put on it and what they're told to do.
