Arctic Monkeys brilliant? Slightly less pretentious but overall boring, to long between each and every song, limited crowd interaction outside of happy birthday, shit lights and I dunno I like 3 out of 4 records, but live they do nothing for me.

Chase & Status just gone to prove they should been headlining john peel instead of west holts, seemed to be working loads better.

Coldplay struggling at T I think. Crowd nowhere near as good or loud as two weeks ago - very little interest in Shiver there. I've switched off!. though as there were audible singalongs for new arctic monkeys album tracks last night it says a lot about the demographic who go there...

Erh last year it was crap, I think I listened to biffy one day and stereophonics & skunk anasie another whilst queing to see the next acts. At a normal festival I would've seen both of these.

Gives the place a disneyland queing feel, just to see an act from the circle. The people who disliked the shangri la one way would be raging!

as much as i love glastarooo , if only eavis had the balls or wallet to book some of the bands other festos have

the strokes etc

The only people to blame for The Strokes not playing Glastonbury is The Strokes themselves.

Glasto doesn't ever do exclusive bookings, while The Strokes always take an exclusive booking because it gets them the most money for doing the littlest.

Would really like to see The Foo's at Glasto, I don't really listen to them all that much on a day to day basis but they look bloody good live. Gotta say T have done well this year with the lineup (in terms of having bands who could easily or ARE headlining other festivals playing lower down, The Strokes 2nd down on the 2nd stage seems mad)

I thought Arctic Monkeys looked fantastic.

I really really liked Humbug, but they've appeared to have ditched most of it from the live act. Which I like, because it's a bit too downbeat (wouldn't have killed them to do Cornerstone mind, I adore that song)

I'm not completely convinced by the new album, but it's a decent listen and the songs from it seemed to go down well at T.
