I'm starting to think it'll be Radiohead now, I don't know why, it's not even wishful thinking because as amazing as they are I think it'd be a shame two yes in a row. I'd be much more interested in someone unexpected or obscure. None the less I will be there down the front and I will make sure I don't know who it is until they start setting up. For me Gladtonbury is made all the more special by little suprises like these which is why I don't understand why everyone is so so desperate to find out. If we were told now then they may as well have just been announced in the first place.

I kinda know one of them. I won't say what day and what band as I realy don't want the person to get in trouble if they've been truthful to me.

They may be talking shit right enough, but they have a job that potentially could have them know a thing or to. It's through my girlfriends pal, and she wasnt meant to tell me, but she's under my thumb.

It is the sort of thing they'd do - premiere the new album in a secret show but also in a high profile way.

But just think they're a little too big for the slot (as a full band) and we got Thom and Jonny last year.

    • Same’s happened at MSG recently with Rush and Phish alternating nights. I guess each band has its own unique production so their riggers will be kept busy
    • The rumour was uk arena tour late this year.  Same as Charli xcx cant be announced until Reading headline is done.
    • Latest from the sun at least is that harry is still headlining but Olivia has turned down a spot next year to work on new music and hope for 2028.   So they can't have Fender, Fontaines, Harry, Olivia and Madonna.
    • I mean I don't think EC and FFDP are borderline sub, they wouldn't be any lower now.   2025 is about as strong as Bloodstock gets yet this year only one headline would sub and the others would play 3rd down or lower.    Machine Head wouldn't sub at Download regardless of rarity, they don't sell enough tickets and I'm not sure Gojira would sub either. Their last UK tour was a mix of smaller arenas and academy dates. Ally Pally being the only London date, not even Wembley Arena.
    • live music / main stage will generally end around 11pm but theres dj’s and late goings on right till 4am if you are so inclined.   Drinks are about £7.50 a pint probably and yes theres lots of mixed drinks / spirits / cocktails available to buy   wonderful festival, back for my third year in a row and 4th overall
