My top four are:

- avoid all the headline bands and go only for things new to me

- refuse to stand and listen to crap just cos my gf likes them

- do a complete tour of the site one early morning wearing only sun hat, wellies and a knowing smile

- piss in the tents, boots, cups etc of a group of arse-hole teenage lads camped in our vicinity ( and nick their mobiles so I can send their mummies pics of what complete idiotic w**kers they have brought up)

I would add have very noisy sex with my gf just as my best mate and his bf are nodding off after finishing themselves, but let's get real

  • I'd love to be the solitary raver who's dancing to the music in her mind in the middle of the empty Glade when there's no band on...

  • I'd also really, really like to see the view from the top of the Ribbon Tower, but I don't like heights much and I'm so unfit I'm terrified I'll conk out halfway up the stairs!

I managed the first 2 in 2009 by going on my own and not giving a toss..technically I must have been at bruce springsteen for a period of time, but as I have no memory I still think it counts.

I've tried to see a headline act at a stage I've not tried before in the last couple of years (avalon, some smaller stages in dance village) rather than sticking to the main headliners and had been intending to do so this year with the acoustic tent, but it's just not going to happen with the fine range of headliners on other (and glade).

Hopefully I'm going to achieve a couple more "always wanted to do that" things this year, one of which has been arranged, the rest remain to be seen.

Well then you're simply no better than them. If anything, you're worse than anything I've encountered at Glastonbury if thats your idea of something you'd ideally like to do.

The Jay-Z year (2008?) - I decided I was going to watch CSS headline The Park...

But I didn't get that far - with my potent brandy & coke in hand, I ended up in a dance tent where 'The Masked DJ' was playing - mostly because there were only 3 people dancing, but they were going mental. One was wearing head to toe spandex - a particularly odd sight.

Next thing - BOOM! - the dj plays 'spin spin sugar' by sneaker pimps... Before I knew it, 3 became 4 and I raved the next hour away, completely forgetting CSS, and possibly had the highlight of my festival.

Apparently JayZ was pretty good, too.

I have always wanted to do the following ( and who knows this may be the year):

Set off a flare in the long drops ( I know its been done before but I want to be the instigator)

Try one of those balloon thingys ( I dont do drugs anymore but I would like to try a little one)

Buy an impoverished looking festival goer a hearty dinner ( I usually buy a few pints but I think a few more need lunch)

Slap on the sunblock on a few more baldies

Do an all nighter until sunrise. Problem is I'm usually too wasted by 1am/2am so slope off to sleep it off. I think it could potentially screw up the remaining day too so I'm too gutless to try it.

    • Israel and Lebanon agree to a ceasefire...problem is Hezbollah, and problem with Hezbollah is Israel. Israel should withdraw, put onus solely on Hezbollah...who are already weakened, which would then strengthen credibility of the Lebanese govt. But with Netanyahu in charge that is unlikely.
    • I saw that the payment method is contactless wristbands - I understand you collect them at the festival site and can top them up there as well? Yes, there are top up points, keep the recepe if you want to withdraw the money in the end   How much does food and drink usually cost at the festival? We would like to know how much money we should prepare for the festival. Beer, Wine etc. 5€, Gin tonic, Whishkey Cola were 6-6.5€, food 10€    Is there a bus from the festival site to the city center? And are there any stops along the way? No offical info yet, but ussualy there are free festival buses from Ljubljanica to festival site, with few stops on the way. Nice to get to the festival but crowded from festival back to the city.   Where is the best place to find an Uber/Bolt to return from the festival site? Petrine ulica   Are there any shaded areas to take a break from the strong sun? Yes, i think there is some.
