I know of a girl that went with 3 blokes at Leeds Festival over the course of the weekend.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not judging the lass, fair game whats good for lads etc etc, but I pity the last of the three lads.

GlastoMongrel met NomiNaomi at Glastonbury 2 years ago, they're getting married on Glastonbury weekend 2012, and LusciousLucy is throwing NomiNaomi a hen do during this year's festival. I don't know if Mongrel's having a stag do type thing, he'll probably just get "park bench w*nkered" on cider on the Thursday night and fall asleep at the Stone Circle.

I pulled last year, twice, in my defence I got dumped by email the day I left for the festival and so was "on the rebound", have to point out I didn't actually sleep with both of them! (and this is all way too much information, soz)

I dont think much has come from the Singles Meets/threads that I set up for 2 years running. Nice idea but not too much action as far as I am aware.

Would be nice to meet someone again at the G obviously. I did one year and had a none too bad 6 month relationship. An issue I do have with the meeting someone at the G is you are quite often under the influence of lovey dovey sweets that once festy season has worn off reality does set in...hence this relationship ending after 6 months.

For people that do meet the person of their dreams at the G is it by accident (just happen to sit down next to them and it goes from there after a conversation), a shared experience whilst watching a show or love at first sight and so on?

Sorry about this ladies...

I seem to remember a similar thread from last year (or the year before) and someone used an analogy which I still can't shift from my head. The analogy being that getting intimate with a woman 3 days into Glasto is like peeling open a Dairylee cheese. Make of that what you will...

As above - showers available and now I've found a good time to use them, do tend to shower daily.

Not 'expecting' anything, but certainly wouldn't rule it out.

Possibly also helped because I find Glastonbury has more of the women I tend to like spending time with - ie easy going, open minded etc. Being a shyish bloke, tend to be more likely chat to random people there too.

one of the couples we camped with in 09 had only just got together and consequently spent the next five days having very frequent (and very vocal!) ugly-bumping in their tent.

Given the whole tent-sauna issue I would imagine that the horizontal hokey-cokey is best done at Glasto in anywhere but said sweat pit

I met a girl in 2009, and slept with her, that was the... Friday... I think. She was a fit ginger but didn't shave. But, she didn't smell of fish. Then met another Saturday, but didn't shag her whilst at Glasto.

Went last year, and met nobody, but had just as good a time.

Glasto '08, I went for a drunken late night ramble to the cinema field to watch Iron Man. Being the cinema there weren't any lights around, but after a few minutes of darkness I noticed someone sat 10 feet in front of me rhythmically rocking. Bit odd I thought, then after more squinting I realised it was actually 1 person sat on top, riding the other! In my drunken state I couldn't stop laughing and had to walk away as I didn't want to ruin the moment for them.

I personally thought Iron Man was a great film, obviously they weren't too impressed.
