anyways, for some people, me including, the whole fun of festivals is discovering new bands.

so has any1 discovered any new bands on the lineup since the announcement? and is there any suggestions for bands to listen to

Nothing yet, I'm at least vaguely familiar with all of the acts who've been announced so far! Hopefully like Joe- says, the FR stage will introduce me to some new acts

Although since Interpol, Nero and The National have been added, I have given them all another listen.

I've been really getting into The Naked And Famous. I reccomend listning to their song "All of this", it's been on repeat for the last week for me And "Home" by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, that's also fairly awesome.

I saw Odd Future at another festival becuase of the hype of them being announced for R&L and that's about it as I've checked out a few other bands announced but wasn't impressed though.

The Joy Formidable. Only recently gotten into them, love the album and can't wait to see them at Reading

ThisSceneIsDead definitely see The Joy Formidable. Saw em last year and their live show is really good! Very energetic and powerful. And the lead singer smashed her guitar one song in?! Wierd, but it was entertaining.

Saw them on the BBC stage in 2008, missed them in the FR in 2009 but saw them in the NME/R1 tent last year. One of the bands I'm really looking forward to this year.

I was aware of The National but forced myself to listen to their albums and yes, they are amazing. Unfortunately also forced myself to listen to Beady Eye with the opposite results.
